Musician, writer and member of the London psychedelic band, Janus Key

Danni was born in Lambeth to Italian parents in 1977. It was from a young age, he fell in love with music.
When he was 11 he saved his hard earned Saturday job money and bought his first guitar. 6 years later Danni found the blues.

Since then, having become a multi instrumentalist. Danni has had the pleasure of playing with such great artist as Jimmy Regal & The Royals, King David's Trio Royale, Blues Guitar Summit, The Jim Hammond Trio, Sub Atomic Souls, The Sweet Bullets, The Blue Stompers and of course The Jack J Hutchinson band, to mention a few.
Currently working on his own first release with Steve Crittall and Mark Johnston.

Gelato is a frenetic alt-rock fever dream devised by band founder & singer/guitarist Drew Wynen. Years spent bringing his individualistic sound to various touring projects shaped his wall of sound approach to Gelato. Together with Callum Green and Phil Van Bran on drums and bass, they’ve been busy chasing after a heady mix of alternative, punk and garage.   Pulling on influences including QOTSA, At The Drive-In & Dinosaur Pile-Up, they‘re finding a space where sweet hooks meet jarring, angular riffs – swaying on a melodic cliff edge, shoulders piled high with an urgent rock n’ roll sound.  With 3 EP’s under their belt and after a lengthy writing/recording hiatus, Gelato emerge from their North London hideout armed with a handful of singles from their upcoming album – complimented by a video series, ‘Live at Konk Studios’. Hold that breath for a sec, time will tell what’s next…
