Luring you into a false sense of security the intro begins with sparse twinkling hits backed by low-rising, warm pads, when Nü’s gorgeous vocals kick in all roads point to a liquid-tinged tech roller. But wait. The intro builds momentum, the vocals reach crescendo and the drop reveals the track’s true, floor destroying intentions. Achieving his first release at only 16 years old, Command Strange’s ability to incorporate jazzy and funky samples into his polished beats has seen him gain support from some of the scene’s OG’s LTJ Bukem, Marky, Goldie, JJ Frost, A Sides, Hype, Fabio & Grooverider and more. Attracting the attention of V Recordings boss Bryan G, the Russian producer has also worked with Artificial Intelligence - an act widely regarded as helping shape modern Drum and Bass. A partnership which has seen boy sides flourish, with the partnership releasing the huge vocal number Won’t Say Goodbye ft Tali on V Recordings as well as the massive, rolling Mad One ft. Future Prophecies are Richard Animashaun Thomas & Tony Anthun. They released their album “Warlords Rising” on Subtitles Music & Beatservice Records 2004/2005. They also released music on various labels like, Breakbeat Kaos, Moving Shadow, Ganja Records, Renegade Hardware, Certificate 18 & Outbreak Recordings, and also worked with artists ranging from Mike Patton, Camo & Krooked, Teebee, Erb n Dub and Jamelia to norwegian jazz royalties Nils Petter Molvær and Bugge Wesseltoft. They performed as a live act comprising of musicians, DJ and sometimes also added the flavor of Mc´s, culminating in a new sound breaking traditional musical barriers. Their extensive knowledge stems from relentless work as club DJs and jazz musicians throughout Norway, the rest of Europe and the States.
