My dad wasn't in my life. I didn't know what i was missing until I was in a relationship with a woman who had a son. 2 years old. We moved in together and I grew to love that boy as of he was my own son. His laugh, his smile, the way he ran to me when I would come home. Unfortunately me and his mom just couldn't make it work after a few years and I haven't seen him since. This song is inspired by the fear of losing a love like that again. This one's for Michael.

Ghost Ryder - Heaven Knows

You might have heard the term "neurodiverse" used to describe people with conditions like autism or ADHD. You may even know someone or have someone in your family who is diagnosed or maybe never diagnosed out of fear that label can bring. This song hits home because it is born from that place of intense personal frustration. The feeling of being analyzed, misunderstood, and pressured to accept a label that doesn't capture the whole, complex reality of ones life. A one size fits all explanation when someone just doesn't fit into society. You are labeled as not being normal, as if that term ever meant anything else but conformity.
In truth we are all sick of being labeled.... doesn't matter if you have ADHD or anything else. Imagine trying every waking minute of your day to "fit in", to act like everyone else when your own mind is just screaming. Imagine the effort it takes, ...to control every move that goes against your very nature and for what? the moment the concentration breaks and that you slip even for a moment, you are met with the collective weight of being labeled sick, when in truth, there is nothing wrong with you, there is just a whole lot of wrong in how society treats people that have different wiring.

The inspiration for LOVE ME LIKE YOU DID BEFORE came from an unexpected burst of creativity within the world of AI-powered music. While my project, Kara Vale, typically focuses on introspective and often melancholic themes, using AI to explore grief, healing, and personal growth, this track took a completely different direction. The whole song was born out of a spontaneous experiment between myself (as the creator behind Kara Vale) and the creative mind collaborating with RICHMOND, another AI-driven music persona.

We set out to challenge both ourselves and the capabilities of AI songwriting tools. Instead of following the usual emotional, synth-laden path, we wanted to see what would happen if we let the AI “play” with more upbeat, sun-drenched pop elements. Using Suno and other AI tools, we experimented with bright chords, lively drum patterns, and playful hooks. The mood that emerged felt so different—almost as if the AI itself was inviting us to explore a lighter, more spontaneous side.

In the process, we let RICHMOND’s signature style (AI-generated rap vocals) intertwine with the dreamy indie pop foundation of Kara Vale. Neither of our AI personas had ever “collaborated” this way before, and the excitement was real, both for us as creators and for the algorithms themselves! It became a true test of how far AI music can go: not just mimicking genre conventions, but combining elements in fresh, genre-blurring ways.

Lyrically, the song taps into nostalgia and the hope to rekindle a relationship’s first spark. But rather than looking back with regret, we wanted the AI to help express forward-looking optimism, a sense of joy and emotional renewal. The end result radiates warmth and hope, echoing the spontaneity that can happen when AI and human creativity work hand in hand.

With LOVE ME LIKE YOU DID BEFORE, we wanted to show that AI music projects like Kara Vale and RICHMOND aren’t limited to one mood or style. This collaboration is about embracing the full spectrum of what’s possible when you trust the process, lean into experimentation, and let both human and artificial imagination run free. Our goal was for listeners (and judges!) to feel that sense of adventure and sunlight that guided us through the making of this unique track.

I wrote this from a really raw and honest place, born out of those late nights staring out at the city lights and feeling a deep disconnect from the hustle. It’s about seeing the exhaustion in people’s eyes, including my own, this feeling of being trapped in a system that demands so much of our souls for a promise that feels hollow. It’s a critique of that 9to5 grind where we trade our authenticity for a pat on the back, not realizing the system is rigged from the start.

The core message, and the real meaning of the title, is about redefining the meaning of what "anarchy" can mean. It’s not the change through chaos and destruction you see in movies. It’s a quiet, personal rebellion. It's the anarchy of choosing inner peace over the noise, of finding richness in stillness, of allowing yourself to be truly, vulnerably human in a world that pressures you to be a machine. It's about letting go of what society tells you to want.

Bringing this all together was a challenge and I appreciate the way TwoShot helped me bringing this track through the finish line. I had all the ingredients, but the way I was able to master the track in TwoShot was such a help and the key to adding that final layer of polish, ensuring the track hits with clarity and power without sacrificing the raw, heartfelt core of the message.
