Jair van Kruijsdijk was born in Bogota, Colombia but moved to the Netherlands at a very young age. Jair is based in Amsterdam where he runs Click Records together with his partner, Stefano Richetta. When discovered the art of music Jair started to preform as a DJ and soon he got into music production. With launching his Shimmer alias he got signed and released on respected labels like Einmusika. Katermukke, Kittball, Parquet, Electronique, Kraftek, Toolroom and many more. All under his Shimmer alias. 
But Jair moved forward and developed his style as both a DJ and producer. That's when he decided that he had to leave Shimmer as his artist name and go on with a new alias for his more deeper productions and DJ sets. That's where 'Lake Avalon' was born. 
With having his Lake Avalon debut EP on Click Records just a few months ago he also released on German based Jeudi Records in the meantime. That 'Interstellar' release did great in the Beatport charts for weeks. Now he is back on the label with a new Remix EP.

Enjoy these 3 remixes for now and keep your eyes and ears open as Lake Avalon got lots of work coming.

Blade & Beard are the protagonists of the 2016 premiered, successful documentary “Raving Iran“ by German filmmaker Susanne Regina Meures. The movie describes the two young men's dangerous lives in Teheran's underground techno scene and their resulting trouble with the authorities. When Blade & Beard were offered the opportunity to play a gig during Switzerland’s well-known Street Parade, they chose to immigrate instead of returning home. Anoosh and Arash are now building themselves a new life and a career in Europe.

Now Blade & Beard have some major news: The start of their own label FUTURIST. After receiving numerous requests from other labels to work with them, Arash & Anoosh decided instead to create something by themselves, just like they always have. Right after the motto “Look ahead instead of back” Blade & Beard worked the past months hard on their own future vision of Techno and happily announce their debut EP „Dark Valley“, which will be also the first catalogue number of FUTURIST.

The „Dark Valley EP“ features three titles celebrating deep but melodic techno moments. Properly marching grooves meets highly recognisable melodies.

More releases by other like-minded artists and future talents are already planned for FUTURIST. Stay tuned for further information.

Juni 2017 auf dem italienischen Label @agile-recordings erscheinen. „Die Grundidee, ein Album aufzunehmen, kam aus dem Gefühl, endlich mal keine Singles oder Remixes zu veröffentlichen“, erklärt der Italiener. Es sei nach diesen ganzen Jahren an der Zeit gewesen, etwas zu produzieren, das ihn musikalisch repräsentieren würde: „Ein Projekt, das meinen musikalischen Hintergrund präsentieren konnte, ohne dem Hype des Augenblicks zu folgen.“ Deswegen sei er frei gewesen, seine Kreativität völlig wiederzugeben. „Ich wollte auch etwas kreieren, was nicht nur eine Sammlung von Singles ist, die in diesem bestimmten Moment kühl klingen würden. Die Idee des Albums war es, eine Erinnerung zu erschaffen, die auch in zehn oder zwanzig Jahren noch aussagekräftig sein wird.“ (...)

On the ''side B'' another exciting bunch of great artists and their re-interpretations. The first to  make  his  appearance is the  finest  Dutch  composer  at  the  moment Eelke  Klejin.  His work  on DzAvalanchedz  is  a  modern  and  melodic  piece  of  house  very  well  outlined  by vapored Hokhok  dream-pop  vocals.  He  really  knows  how  to  deal  with  catchy  voices;  he has a well-known  remix  for  the  highly  respected  band Arcade  Fire  (DzReflektordz).  Pure summer with a smart and a gentle cinematic touch. 

Sincopat's patron AFFKT  is  the  next  to  redesign  an  original  cut.  All  his  efforts  are  for DzDespertardz. The result is a seamless journey through the inimitable 'AFFKTstyle' of house, techno and electronica putting the listener at the core of his musical psyche.

No less solid is Upercent's DzBreathedz remix, which will definitely work on any dance floor. He  takes  the  original  track –including Kash  vocals-  into  a  deeper  space,  implementing lively bass drones. A blast. And finally, DzI Saw Youdz this time reinvented by Carlo. A house track  where  drums,  bass  guitar  notes  and  sliced  vocals  spin  around  each  other  in  fluidly choreographed routines
