Some weeks ago my sisters and I hosted our first event together in Oslo at Skippergata. But definitely not the last one! We opened the party with a heart meditation, filled the location with art and installations from dear sisters and created an atmosphere in full Shakti activation.

We are really happy to have our first international guest for the Cosmocast episode. Giorgio Cencetti aka DJ Farrapo is italian musicologist, dj producer, samba lover and amateur cook. 
He brings to the dancing floor the warmth of human touch, which is the secret sauce of his musical dishes.
Its ingredients: flavors from all over the world. His brand: a hot mix of pulsing club music. 
His solid reputation as a dj has seen him perform in clubs from Italy, Austria, Germany, England, Portugal, Spain, Bulgaria, Polonia, Greece, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Denmark, Brasil.
His research and production style is influenced by his love of traditional music from all over the world and he has perfected a unique blend of Balkan, Brazilian and Afro sounds mixed up with contemporary dancefloor rhythms such as drum’n’bass, broken beat & break beat.
He remixed well known bands and artists (The New Mastersound, Ojos De Brujos, Solo Moderna, Roy Paci, Janko Nilovic, Makala….)

Swa Swally is an amazing Live performer with his unique voice melting with percussions, noises, guitars and keyboards.
After having lived 4 years in Africa where he was initiated to percussions and consequently been deeply involved in World Music, exploring Middle Eastern chants as well as various aboriginal rhythms, he then felt the urge to create an original music which would convey primitive and instinctive pulsations while at the same time appealing to one’s emotions.
About this track :
" I’ve tried to put together my influences and interpretations of my knowledge of the forgotten tribes in canada and up north, as well as the african influences and performances, specially in the time signatures. The sounds and playing are live as well as all the instruments and voices. Totemtribe : The name I designed to represent all the forgotten tribes from Canada.  As a Totem, a voice that needs to be heard , as high and  far, as possible… "

We started as a group of music producers in Montréal, immigrants from Latin America, Europe and friends from Canada, we wanted to reinterpret the elements of this land, from North America such as: nature, native cultures, artistic forms and others. This woke a great interest from artists from all over the world, thing that finally lead to our compilation ¨Element of These Lands¨, in plural, adding a big tribe of friends from all over the world which today are part of our artistic essence, a multi cultural collective.

Our proposal is to make music that evokes respect and consciousness about nature, which understand our cultural differences as a great value for us. We look to go beyond the act of pushing buttons to create digital music, on the other side, we want to inspire ourselves as a collective and invite to reflect about the elements of our land, elements that sometimes western culture forgets, but through art we can analyze, reinterpret and value.

Our first compilation has cultural influences from: Canada, Mexico, France, Chile, Turkey, Belgium, Colombia, Lebanon, Switzerland, Italy and Argentina. 
We want to thank all the producers evolved in this compilation and our artist Mathieu Bories, visual genius of our collective; also everyone who have believed in us and never forgetting you, the people who download and share these voices which are echoes from the land itself, that through artists sing to us to generate awareness of our roots and the elements of our land.

Cosmovision presents '' Animals of the Earth vol.2 ''
Our generation has taken many causes but the most important cause is sometimes forgotten and that's our planet's ecosystem. Today our planet still waits urgently for our action and with the latest events, Mother Earth itself is screaming to humanity to slow down and reconnect with her in a spiritual way.

Modern societies have been treating Mother Earth as if it was their property; extracting resources, polluting constantly, changing the landscape, killing the other animals and destroying its natural balance.

Since the Industrial Revolution, humanity has killed 83% of all wild mammals and half of all plants of the Earth. Two hundred species of living beings are going extinct every single day. We collectively need to change so many things in areas such as the use of plastic, meat consumption, contaminating energies, day to day overconsumption and more. How can artists raise awareness regarding this?

For this project we have gathered to co-create an ecosystem that lives in a music album. Producers from many places on Earth explored their connections with our animal cousins, remembering that the monkey, the wolf, the polar beer and all the others are our partners in the long trip that this green and lively planet takes in the Universe.

We invite you to come with us on this journey through the musical ecosystem of the ¨Animals of the Earth vol.2¨ to discover, respect and care for these beautiful beings that live with us.

This 3 parts originals is filled with percussion and drone voices.
All performed live, on a single electronic drum percussion tom.
