Timmion Records introduces a new instrumental group Bronze, Silver & Brass, an eight-piece brass ensemble that is about to make waves with their debut 7” vinyl single “Conrad’s Lesson” b/w “Ward to Ward”. This banger of a release blesses you with two spectacular tunes that showcases the group’s influences from soulful stage band music to NOLA street funk.

On the A-side, “Conrad’s Lesson” delivers a pulsing midtempo groove, driven by funky drums and adorned with beautifully mellow horn melodies. Meanwhile, the B-side gem, “Ward to Ward” offers upbeat New Orleans second line funk, exuding the spirit of celebration and joy through syncopated beats and spirited horn arrangements.

Inspired by the soulful sounds of Kashmere Stage Band, Curtis Mayfield – and of course contemporary trailblazers such as Young Blood Brass Band and Hot 8 Brass Band – Bronze, Silver & Brass boldly blend a gumbo that that oozes musical love without excuses. With this debut single, they invite listeners to celebrate the rich heritage of brass music while keeping things severely funky. Last autumn, Cologne-based duo COMA released their long-awaited sophomore full-length THIS SIDE OF PARADISE (KOMPAKT 335 CD 126) - Mixmag proclaimed the album as “a lush, melodic and electronic creature” that completely fits their wide sonic palate. The band gave free reign to have the artists that appear on this release remix their favorite tracks from the album. What we have is a trio of great reinterpretations that literally sound like they come from the heart: MOSCOMAN is definitely on his way to being hailed as a face to watch in 2016. His releases on ESP Institute, I'm A Cliché and Renate were played to death in our office, so we happily welcome him with this amazing remix of BORDERLINE. We got to know BAIO as a member of VAMPIRE WEEKEND - he has kept our ears on alert thanks to great releases on Greco-Roman and his phenomenal debut album. He takes on THE SEA in his own way and warps it into an epic dance floor bloomer. Look out for a remix of BAIO that COMA did which is expected out soon. ALEX HENTZE rounds off this release with a step-heavy crooner to end any great night out.

Echopark is the new project from London-based Italian musician Antonio Elia Forte. Born in a tiny rented-room in Whitechapel, the record ‘Treesʼ was recorded almost entirely there with just a handful of microphones.

For Antonio it is something that fights to be imperfect. It's a work full of errors, raw sounds and millions of voices overlapping, given birth during days off and weekends. The goal was to capture and freeze the moment when a song comes to light, the emotions that fill the air at that precise instant.

Antonio’s hometown is Lecce, Italy’s equivalent of LA’s Echo Park. Known as the “California of Italy” Lecce, is located in the south of the country, a paradise where it is always warm & home to an ardent underground movement of bands, skaters & surfers.

Antonio’s first contact with music came aged five. While his father was out working, he’d steal his guitar and play.  From thirteen onwards Antonio has gigged, all over Italy and elsewhere. The stage is where he feels most strong, most confident. Echopark will make the transition from bedroom to concert venue this spring; with a full band assembled.

'Trees' is released worldwide on 16th April as a digital download/CD. 'Teleportation' is the first single to be released from the album, as a free download.
