In the late 90s Electronic Music scene, few DJs could forget the excitement surrounding the next Circulation release. Paul Davis and Matt Jackson, the duo behind 45 color-coordinated cult EPs, left an enduring mark on vinyl collections worldwide. Fast forward to the summer of 2021, where Paul, rekindling his love for music during the pandemic, made a triumphant return with a series of EPs. Demonstrating maturity since his early days, he retained the ability to craft infectious dance floor grooves.
Circulation's resurgence continued with exquisite music for Stripped Recordings and remixes for Stripped Digital in the past year. 2023 saw Paul's work featured on renowned labels like Bedrock, Selador, Sound Avenue, and Mirabilis, marking a remarkably productive year.
Now, in 2024, we're thrilled to be the first label releasing music from this exceptionally talented producer—a 3-track EP titled "Reindeers & Beer." A perfect conclusion to the festive season and a promising start to the new year, the EP includes two exceptional remixes that further diversify the genre of the already stellar original.
Leading the remix charge is Luze, a familiar face with a hypnotic style and deep grooves showcased in remixes for Kamilo Sanclemente and Bemannte and Bruder. His contribution adds another layer of brilliance to the already outstanding original.
The second remix comes from the emerging duo Zstimer & Wru, newcomers to the label. Their edgy tour de force of Electronica underscores their collaborative potential, already leaving a mark in the musical universe.
