Electric Eye play droned out psych-rock inspired by the blues, India and the ever more expanding universe. On the bands inspirational mix tape, you will probably find songs from the The Black Angels, Wooden Shjips and Pink Floyd in Pompeii. With members from some of Bergen’s foremost underground bands, a couple of spectacular songs and live shows, the buzz about Electric Eye swiftly spread from Norway to music fans world wide. Electric Eye released their debut-LP “Pick-up, Lift-off, Space, Time” in April. The album received rave reviews in the Norwegian music press, and has over the last few months spread to blogs and radio stations all over the world. The album was a co-release between Norway's Klangkollektivet and London based Fuzz Club Records, who put out “Pick-up, Lift-off, Space, Time” in both the UK and US. After the release Electric Eye have toured Scandinavia and the EU, appeared at several Psych Fests across the continent.

Connecticut's Landing have specialized in a mild and rural kind of psychedelia over the course of nearly two decades. Recent releases have seen them closer to post-punk and shoegaze territory than ever, but Third Sight – recorded specifically for El Paraiso Records’ Impetus series – builds on the hallucinatory soundscapes of the band's earliest days.

There's a unique sense of motoric drift to these four long pieces, and an organic blend of rock instrumentation and analog electronics that brings to mind Eno's best collaborations in the 1970s. But the group's flair for fuzzy drones and new weirdsy commune-folk also betrays their affiliation with the experimental American east coast scene –these guys have played shows with their friends in Bardo Pond, releasing a split EP with Windy & Carl and playing numerous Terrastocks throughout their existence. 

And despite releasing one brilliant album after another the band remains appalingly under-appreciated. Perhaps because the tryyps Landing take are rooted in self-exploration. As trends in krautrock, drone, folk, and psychedelia ebb and flow, Landing remain unfazed. The door to Landing’s world is open, but there isn’t a flashing neon sign above it. These guys are far removed from the hustle and bustle of geographic cultural bubbles, both physically and spiritually.

Listening through this LP is likely to stimulate mental images of rural winds blowing across vast American fields of grass, bonfires, blue rivers and power lines sailing through rolling hills. ABOUT THE BAND

Hibushibire are an Osaka based Japanese hard psychedelic freak out rock band. The band was formed by guitarist Chang Chang and bassist 821 as a improvisation jam rock band in 2012, and the line-up had the present member in 2015 via several times of member change. 

The present members are 

Chang Chang (freak out guitar/Vocal) who makes shred guitar his strong point and is given the nickname Psychedelic young nobleman

821 (freak out Bass/Chorus) who is playing an active part by various bands

Ryu Matsumoto (freak out Drums) who play with a large number of domestic and foreign musicians as improvisation drummer.

The band which consists of a member with many carriers, and their musical style changed to hard psychedelic rock accompanied by several times of members change. 

The large portion of the Hibushibire's musicality is influenced by Acid Mothers Temple, 60's Hard rock, 70's Progressive rock and additionally various psychedelic music, and they are pursuing original music committed to be ROCK and PSYCHEDELIC. 

Hibushibire is called Advance party of a next generation psychedelic rock band by Kawabata Makoto (Acid Mothers Temple/Mainliner etc) 

"Hibushibire" is Japanese old porno slang which is meaning as freak out orgasm.

ABOUT THE ALBUM

Freak Out Orgasm! is first studio album by Hibushibire in their 4th year.

They had chance to record studio album during 4 years, several times, but they could not because of member change, etc The ‘Freak Out Orgasm!’ album was recorded in just one day at Helluva Lounge (their home ground venue), and it was overdubbed with folk instruments such as Zurna, Santur, and an electronic sound of synthesizer in order to make more psychedelic. 

It was mixed by Kawabata Makoto of Acid Mothers Temple as as a producer at his mountain top studio temple. It became more psychedelic and exciting by making him a producer. When the show, they play songs with interplay, so it is often played long length. Tracks that are included in the album are the shortest version. ‘Deep Throat River Holy Mountain High’ is representative song of Hibushibire, and the band often play that various versions. Freak Out Orgasm! is the album just like a business card for the rock scene around the world to Hibushibire. However, it might be not limited to that...

Next up in the Fuzz Club Session series is Austin’s Holy Wave! Following the release of their 2016 LP ‘Freaks Of Nurture’ we invited the band to London to lay down a session. Despite still being steeped in a 60s Nuggets nostalgia the material on the session see’s Holy Wave ditch the Seeds-esque garage for a more washed out, reverberating psych-pop sound. The warm analogue recording creating a blissed-out echo chamber of sun-soaked psychedelia – recorded straight to tape and committed to the wax.

Limited to 500 copies. 100 on white vinyl exclusive to the Fuzz Club store. 400 on black vinyl. All on 180g vinyl and with printed inner sleeves. Digital download included.
