Fuzz Lightyear were born in 2023 from an idea by Kurt Wild (former guitarist and founder of
Sex Excess). Shortly before the publication of their first single "Psychochillina" for the "Spinel
Records" label, SCL, active in the "Torrese" (Torre del Greco (NA) underground electronic
scene, joins.
The sounds are characterized by the mix of ethereal or heavily distorted guitars, typical of
Stoner Rock and Acid Rock and the use of Drum Machines, Synthesizers, Pads and Loop
Stations traditionally belonging to electronic music genres (Ambient, Chill out, Space
Cinematic, etc).

Fuzz Lightyear is a music project originating from Torre del Greco (NA) that delves into visionary and
immersive soundscapes. The style, entirely instrumental, stands out for its unique blend of stoner and
space rock guitars, accompanied by electronic textures crafted with a Roland SP404SX sampler. Rhythmic
and melodic foundations, created using pre-recorded drum and bass lines, are interwoven with pads
generated on a Roland Juno synthesizer, used both in the studio and live performances. Vocal samples
extracted from sci-fi-themed films, interviews, and documentaries enrich the sound, resulting in an
auditory journey that spans pure ambient, acid rock, neo-psychedelia, and space rock, transporting

listeners on an interstellar mental voyage.
