Tom Silkman is an alternative indie and psychedelic rock artist known for his immersive instrumental soundscapes. His latest album, «Bringer Of The Sky», is a deeply personal, self-produced journey born from a period of transformation. After experiencing one of the darkest times in his life, Silkman revisited old, unfinished recordings as part of his healing process. Around the same time, he discovered the lap steel/slide guitar, falling in love with its ethereal tones. This newfound inspiration led him to complete a fully instrumental album, allowing him to explore music in a fresh, uninhibited way.
Without the need to write lyrics, Silkman rekindled another creative passion—visual art—designing the album’s artwork himself. Released via his own label, Fuzztronaut Records, Bringer Of The Sky blends dreamy, reverb-drenched guitar work with hypnotic rhythms, making it a must-listen for fans of Khruangbin, LA LOM, Wilco and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
