@ivvvs first EP is a melancholic balance between whispers of darkness and glimmers of light, infused with shady melodies and influenced by UK Drill, Grime and Trance.

Based in China, born in Russia, the young producer grew up with a music teacher mom and started his journey to electronic music into the abyss of the internet as a teenager before he eventually mastered the art of djing. During summer 2021 IVVVS and his friends started together to run their own parties - called Liminal - at ALL club in Shanghai.

DÉLITEMENT pose une première question : "Que reste-t-il lorsque les systèmes s'effondrent, les cycles se désynchronisent et les paysages connus disparaissent ?”.

Afin d’y répondre, les artistes présent.e.s sur la compilation proposent dix récits musicaux comme réponses ou tentatives d'interprétations d'autres mondes possibles.

DÉLITEMENT veut illustrer l'expérience sonore d'une personne à la découverte de ces nouvelles réalités à l'œuvre. Iel y voit un monde qui s’affole, où s’entrechoquent des systèmes à bout de souffle, reliques brutalistes d’une société dépassée, un nihilisme festif et une digitalisation exacerbée. Inévitablement, la nature a repris ses droits sur ce monde morne, gluant et pesant, devenant à la fois le danger présent et l'imminence d'un futur à reconstruire.

Today, our guest is the Tokyo-based DJ Kojikoji, a member of the Chemical Monsters collective with Wrack (among the others), and also the founder of the multi-disciplinary project Demian that covers clothing, photography, graphic design, and music. Under that name, Kojikoji has been curating the cutting-edge monthly mix series called Fetishism hosted by the Bristol-based Wide Radio and to which contributed international artists such as Pobvio, Wulffluw XCIV, Rafa Maya, P6R6R6K, and Blaise Deville. You can find Kojikoji's mix on our Soundcloud or stream it via the player below.
