In a world where musical genres have seemingly disappeared behind EDM’s obvious rise to prominence, we bring you the second installation of Yellow Claw’s Amsterdam Trap Music series. Amsterdam Trap Music Vol. 2, Yellow Claw’s new EP out on Mad Decent July 22nd, allows the Dutch trio to explore fresh audio terrain as they combine their monstrous trap bangers with influences from all around the music scene. From jammin’ with Jamaican reggae king Beenie Man in “Dancehall Solider,” to soothing our ear drums with sultry R&B/Soul singer Lil’ Eddie in “Never Dies”, to even turning up with the Brick Squad master himself Waka Flocka in “Techno,” Yellow Claw have managed to convert any non-believer into a certified trap lord.

Sky is the limit, but not for Yellow Claw & Dirtcaps. Now that their newest EP EASTZANE WARRIORS is set to be released, the obsession is real. In this record, the boys got together for a few studio hangs and developed a so-called faster and more aggressive house interpretation. On top of everything, Max from Dirtcaps discovered some splendid combinations of foods you can put mayonnaise on. This exploration gave him the nickname “Mayo Max”. The boys disclose that a special connection exists between “Flags Up” tune and ravers who bring all sorts of flags representing their home country. Meanwhile, the biggest raves have been dynamited with “Burn It Bro”, as seen at Hardwell’s performance at EDC Las Vegas this year and a bunch of striking W&W shows. This spring, twenty DJ/producers from the Netherlands descended on a cottage in the north of France and converted it into a studio complex. Label heads Yellow Claw, as well as Mike Cervello, Moksi, LNY TNZ, The Galaxy, Dirtcaps, Mightyfools, FS Green, Cesqeaux, Fountain Of Youth, FS Green and Wiwek all dropped by to contribute heat.

Over seven days, in various combinations, they wrote and produced the 15 new tracks on the Barong Family Album. The album is available for stream and free download as of now. The album is preceded by a short documentary, and followed by a Barong Family world tour.
