"Daylight" is about finding light into darkness, start living again after coming out of these difficult times. When artists spend time picking through samples, aligning up beat tracks, and getting in touch with sound that inspires them, that energy electrifies their work. Real experience and emotion makes real music, and the warmth that resonates through this compilation forms a unique link between you and the people behind the project. 

After dropping our first ACT the last year, we wanted to re-up this experience! It's crazy to think that it has been a year since we released this gem. During this sad period of confinment, we've worked through stacks of music to compile our ACT 2 "Daylight" that features some of Lo-fi, Hip-Hop and Electronic’s best up and coming producers and singers! All projects we received are beautiful but we wanted to create a story under our new project so, the selection was meticulous.

We've reunited artists from different horizons for creating an original story full of emotions. There’s no discoordination in the end product though. It doesn't matter what your preference of music is, the music within this project is universal and timeless.

Manila-based producer FXXXYBLNT caught the attention of listeners with the release of his first single "Window Water Baby Moving" last month, and with his upcoming project set to release soon, he drops off his second single, titled "Sleep of the Lovers." A slow tempo atmospheric track, the new single utilizes a drowned out sample of Sanna Hartfield's vocals on "Hurt Me Too," providing a dark and dreamy mood. FXXXYBLNT returns with a mood-heavy banger that studies colors and contrasts between glo-fi and IDM, R&B and ghost music. On his second single, “Sleep of the Lovers,” the downtempo producer tries to explore the coldest reaches of space, submerging into liquid beats while unearthing every possible murmur there is, in the deepest part of the ocean. This time, his direction is more atmosphere-driven than details-specific, with a soft pulse floating through a dreamy synth riff, endlessly going nowhere from here and beyond.

The Manila native returned over the weekend with another gorgeously refined, future R&B composition, entitled ‘Sleep Of The Lovers’. It’s a witch-house tinctured whirpool of sensual sound, sucking in James Blake‘s impenetrably murky electronics, How To Dress Well‘s sensitive percussive caresses – FXXXYBLNT took a fairly successful stab at remixing ‘Cold Nites’ earlier in 2013 – and dreamy wafts of Sanna Hartfield’s pitched down vox. Here’s hoping this rich seam of consistency flows all the way through the anonymous bedroom producer’s first full-length record.

The track has a haunting feel that gets support from an infectious collection of trap inspired drum work. “Sleep Of The Lovers” is driven by a sleepy sounding synth with dope accents that will make you drift off, while the drums supply an infectious rhythm that is incredibly hard to pull away from.
