“It’s funny; I found these penny wrappers one day when I was little.   I came up with a whole scenario about a rock concert and these penny wrappers were the tickets.  I even wrote a song called “Sixty Pennies” & performed it and everything!  I spent the whole day running around with these penny wrappers in my hand.  I still remember that song.”Growing up in a South St. Petersburg as the daughter of a school teacher, Fyah crafted a love for reading at a young age, so it was no surprise when this dynamic stylist of rap began writing poetry in high school, penning her first rap song in the 10th grade and never looking back. Fyah Red heats up your mind, body and soul with neoclassic rhythm seasoned with a southern rap flavor that explodes into its own space, time, and sensuality. Fyah takes you on an exciting journey to the next level of hip hop. Hailing from St. Petersburg, Florida, Fyah Red is firmly in place to become one of hip hop’s next reigning lyricist and rappers. “Rap allows my brain to focus on something and create a picture. It’s so diverse [rap] that I can listen and come up with a bunch of metaphors; hidden messages or it can be straight up and aggressive. When I was presented with the opportunity, I was excited because this song gave me the chance to meet a wide group of people that came together for a good cause.  I will try anything when I'm creating.  When your in that mode, you never know what you might come up with and if you go into it with a closed mind, you might cut yourself off from something you didn't know you had in you. Fyah Red even performed on a country song with artist Ed Verner.  "I liked the song and when I listened to his lyrics, I felt like it was something that everybody could relate to...
