COZY MAG are pleased to announce for this gig at Oslo, they'll be bringing over Singapore-based collective Darker Than Wax for their first performance on UK soil. Fed up with maintaining the norm, they formed the label based around championing the freshest subcultures emerging out of electronic, hip hop and more with producers and DJs across the world.

Playing the showcase will be Flying Lotus influenced future-soul crafter Melo-Zed, left-field co-founder Funk Bast*rd, smooth grove inducer Jaël, and hip hop maestro Jasper Staal plus special guests.

We thought we'd slow things down a bit with the second single from The Xtraordinair$' upcoming "X ESSENTIAL" album. Singer-Songwriter-Producer B~Free reemerges with her sophomore effort, the "Ode 2 A Luv Affair LP." With sound inspirations from Musiq Soulchild, Dwele, J-Dilla & Jill Scott., it is a conceptual album that traverses the ups and downs of romantic relationships. vulnerability, passion and compromise.

Production for the album began in 2013 but was interrupted by a lengthy vocal trauma that would leave the artist unable to speak or sing for months. Following a vocal cord surgery & traumatic year of recovery, B~Free became more dedicated than ever to share her musical gifts.

The project features 13 songs written, produced and performed by the multi-talented musician herself, with collaborations including a duet with singer Brian Dimetri and a song written by Damara Woodring of Savage Sevyn. Hailed by The Shepard Express as an "immaculately constructed R&B record," with a style rooted in 90s R&B/Neo Soul & traces of present day influences, Ode not only represents the many trials & turmoils of love, but the personification of an artist's loss & reclaiming of her gift.
