Fyodor Biryuchev is a pianist and composer, recipient of international awards. Fyodor is one of the most outstanding representatives of contemporary classical music in Russia. He is an extremely interesting figure in the context of modern music culture. 
Fyodor Biryuchev works in style which is called contemporary classical, it combines melodiousness and fleshpots of classics with a freedom of expression and simplicity in perception of modern music. 
The second album «By The Sea» is a new stage in the composer's work. In his new record, the author refers to the sea as a phenomenon that is closely and deeply connected with his life since childhood, as he was born and raised in the town by the sea. There are expressive and dramatic works along with gentle and deeply lyrical compositions in the album. New creative signature of the composer is distinguished by diversity, imagery and picturesque. 


‘The album «By the Sea» reflects the stories that I have heard… Coming to the sea is much like returning to your true self. In this sense nature and music have similar impact on one’s personality. The sea is both memories and exciting mystery, as well as tranquility and raging element. That is why the compositions in this album are so diverse’.

"From the Open Space" is a joint improvisation by composer Fyodor Biryuchev and experimental ambient artist Symphocat. It was recorded in Rostov-on-don at a concert dedicated to the Cosmonautics Day. This track is a kind of dialogue of the prepared piano and captivating cold electronics.

Prepared piano is an instrument whose special sound is created with the help of various objects placed between the strings and hammers. As a result, thanks to the addition of the percussion element the usual piano sound changes, giving rise to a new unique timbre.

Turning to the prepared piano and the cooperation with Ilya became non-trivial artistic experience for Fyodor. While preparing for it, he studied the works of one of the most mysterious and influential composers of the XX century - the American John Cage, as well as some works of the modern German avant-garde musician Volker Bertelmann (aka Hauschka).

"From the Open Space" 一 musical picture of the stream of energy through yourself, of going beyond your limits, of the flight above the mundane.

Fyodor Biryuchev strives to uncover the beauty and the inexplicable mystery of the world and shares them with people in his work. The young composer and pianist, who grew up on the Black Sea Coast, is now standing at the forefront of the Eastern European modern classical music stage.

Fyodor as a classical pianist, the graduate of Moscow State Institute of Culture and laureate of a number of international competitions and festivals, enjoys pushing boundaries with both his studio work and his live shows.

While featuring academic sophistication and precision and a deep immersion of the listeners, Fyodor's concerts are at the same time full of vivid expressive presentation, powerful energy and charming atmosphere. His creative style is marked by diversity, imaginative and cinematic nature. His work is mostly influenced by Sergei Rachmaninoff, Frederic Chopin and Robert Schumann.

Fyodor's music resonates with the listener, it is something personal, devoid of the excessive conservatism and artificial pathos. The composer's music is inspiring, it astounds with its sincerity and tenderness. It sounds like a sea breeze, a long-awaited spring, a sky full of stars up in the mountains.

In the course of several extended live tours with intimate concerts across Europe and Asia Fyodor Biryuchev had presented his two albums: «Breath of Love» (2016) and «By the Sea» (2017). Fyodor took on the role of the sound producer of the world's first classical opera in the immersive format – «The Queen of Spades» - working in cooperation with New Classic Band Orchestra (conductor Andrew Rein) and singers from the Bolshoi Theatre (Moscow). This project received a Russian National Award, «Onegin». In 2018 he worked with Severnaya Sinfonietta Orchestra under the direction of an Italian conductor Fabio Mastrangelo. In 2019 he took part in Piano Day Festival and played the concerts in Paris and Amsterdam. In 2020 in collaboration with Russian poet Eugeny Soya he released the new album «Let me be frank». The same year he played a concert in India in New Delhi and had a concert tour in Russia. In autumn 2020, Fyodor moved to Barcelona, where he is now continuing his studies in applied composition at Conservatory Liceu. He is a scholarship holder of the Fundació del Conservatori del Liceu.
