After a longer break we are back. This song started with the synth sequence you can hear at the beginning and underwent many and many iterations because I was never satisfied enough with it. When I sat down with Valentin and showed him the song he added the bass line you can hear very prominently throughout the song, which made it into the song it is now.


The song title Casela comes from one of the national parks in Mauritius, that Valentin visited in February. 



Lastly, since this song is highly influenced by African music we want to raise awareness to something that got completely forgotten due to COVID-19. 

On March 10, 2020, two of the very few alive white giraffes were killed in the Ishaqbini Hirola Conservancy, apparently by poachers.
Those two white giraffes were a mother and her calf. Her calf was the second birth reported in August last year, resulting in a family of three white giraffes. After this incident, only a lone bull remains.


It is sad that things like this still happens in times like these were environmental awareness became such a common thing.
