In true Nillo fashion, after nearly a 3 year unannounced hiatus from releasing original music, an album emerges. Upon first listen it becomes glaringly obvious, he went away to plunge deeper into the source of sound alchemy. To get to know his machines. And to invite spontaneity and synchronicity to dance hand in hand around a raging midnight fire. 

Percussion pervades the album as one would expect, often played live and layered in blissful chaos. In a new turn, synthesized percussives infiltrate the soundscape in a most powerful and austere fashion, bringing with it a whole new dimension of depth. Beautiful, almost contradicting arrays of strings, vocals and distorted synth pads are placed throughout make this Nillo's most congruent and intriguing work. An album that never once strays the path of purity of craft.

Gats, also known as Voltags, Changa Boys, ghostandthesong, Solarbaby, Lagoon, and Gates, is a producer, DJ, and performer based in Berlin, Germany. His music is a unique blend of psychedelic
dance music with references to different kinds of micro-genres from the past 60 years. Embracing a boundless approach to sample exploration, with an eye on both the analog and digital world, Gates'
work expresses the freedom of eclecticism.

Khalil Mounji is a Gnawa musician and community activist who blends tradition and modernity to create a unique style. He founded Gnaoua Culture, an organization that uses technology to promote
and preserve Gnawa heritage through music and education. 
He is dedicated to sharing the richness of Gnawa culture with the world.

Mictlán es el inframundo y parte del universo vertical, creado por la pareja de dioses soberanos de los muertos. Sus nueve niveles representan el viaje del Dios Tonatiuh todas las noches en las fauces de los señores de la Tierra. 

Tepeme Monamictlán es el segundo de los nueve niveles y residencia de Tepeyóllotl (dios de las montañas, los ecos y el jaguar). Esta es la región donde dos montañas chocan, produciendo ecos como señal a los muertos para cruzar al siguiente nivel.

Mictlán is a conceptual album through genres and interpretations of 18 artists about the underworld according to the mythology and pre-Hispanic worldview of the Aztecs.

Mictlán is the underworld and part of the vertical universe, created by the pair of sovereign gods of the dead. Its nine levels represent the journey of a god every night in the fauces of the lords of the Earth.

Tepeme Monamictlán is the second of the nine levels and residence of Tepeyóllotl (god of mountains, echoes and jaguar). This is the region where two mountains collide, producing echoes as a signal to the dead to cross to the next level.
