What do you get when you take 3 talented musicians from 3 different backgrounds and different musical styles, move them to Albert Lea for careers and to become leaders in their respective church congregations, and put them on intersecting musical paths?  You get 4th Man in the Fire Ministries!  

4th Man (which later evolved into G, B & Mr. P) began when John Piotraschke and Bob Bursell met through a mutual friend in 1997 and began discussing life, family values and dreams of sharing a music ministry with whoever would listen.  George Marin soon joined and filled the need for a dynamic and strong lead vocal. John’s prolific song writing, coupled with input and collaboration from Bob and George soon yielded a wealth of original material with influences from many genres. 

With the spiritual and financial backing of several church congregations, as well as from friends and family, the dream of recording these songs of  faith, family and hope soon was realized. The three recorded their first cd, a self-title demo of sorts, in 1999 and started playing at venues and churches throughout southern Minnesota, northern Iowa and western Wisconsin. Airplay on several area radio stations soon followed. 

The guys took the demo one step further a year later with a full-length self-produced album of highly polished material. Crazy About Us brought about more touring and airplay and resulted in a fan base spreading throughout much of the area. Unfortunately, career changes moved Bob and John out of the Albert Lea area shortly after the release of Crazy and brought an end to the music ministry that they had built up over several years.

Although the touring and recording ended, the three have remained close friends over the years. What you are hearing here is the result of this close friendship and the years of hard work and talent.
