Celebrating 20 years at the forefront of Drum & Bass, Viper Recordings have been a staple in the scene since Futurebound launched the label in 2004. The birthplace of countless household names such as The Prototypes, Brookes Brothers, Metrik, ShockOne, Koven, Camo & Krooked, Nero, Fred V & Grafix, InsideInfo, and many more, Viper has always prided itself on discovering the next big thing in DnB. Futurebound’s knack for discovering new talent is second to none, focusing on shining a light on homegrown talent alongside superstar talent from day one. With hit compilations like Future Fire, the yearly Annuals, Summer Slammers, and Acts of Mad Men being fan favourites over the years, the label are proud to present a new album celebrating the label’s iconic history and bright future with 20 Years of Viper.

A star studded tracklist includes remixes of some of the label’s most loved tunes, such as Pythius’ take on InsideInfo & Miss Trouble’s seminal “Metamorphosis”, Justin Hawke’s remix of Metrik & Reija Lee’s “Freefall” and Circadian’s reimagining of ShockOne’s “Polygon”. New tracks include tracks from recent label staples Madface, Giganti, Solomon France, and Aymen Valentino alongside new music from legends DC Breaks, Taxman, and Matrix & Futurebound, to name but a few.

20 tracks for 20 years, the album celebrates the diversity of the label, ranging from the label’s dancefloor origins to elegant liquid numbers, classic jungle sounds, intricate neurofunk, and everything in between, all with absolute masterful production and flawless creativity in common.

A label that has always pushed the boundaries to stand out in an often over saturated market, Viper have managed to stay at the forefront for 20 years via a combination of raw talent, open mindedness, and no shortage of anthems and heavy bass. Here’s to the next 20 years of the label!
