I put this project together to show respect to those that I have been inspired by to do what I do. I plan on doing one Producer's Suite per quarter, honoring a different producer every time. I chose to make my first installment honor the work of the late great American music producer J-Dilla. To complete this task, I made 5 joints that reference a few of my favorite Dilla productions. THIS IS NOT AN ATTEMPT TO OUT DO THE ORIGINALS! It's simply a way to honor someone on a day of their demise by celebrating their life using their work as a vehicle to do so. Beside's can't no one out shine Dilla, C'mon now! If you are unfamiliar with my work hopefully, this gives you a shine into what I can do as a producer. If you are unfamiliar with DIlla (so saaaaad if you are ;), I have referenced everysong clearly. Everyone feel free to down load the joints reference the originals, compare if you want to, and remember the man who originally cut these joints. RIP DILLA! Enjoy!
