This week at G2 we were super excited to celebrate the baptism of Eleanor together !! And afterwards, we were lead in worship by Matt Morgan, who spoke to us about the parable of the hidden treasure and the pearl.

This week at G2 was a little bit different. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus is nearly always going to, from, or having a meal, and so we believe it is so important to also share food as a community. This Sunday, between eating, Matt, Fiona, and Hannah spoke to us on Matthew 14 and Jesus feeding the 5000, tying in a Gospel contemplation, the scriptual links to Psalm 23, and how Jesus models repsonding to grief.

It was fantastic to do Ignition Sunday this week! This is where we hear from three different members of our Church community who have never previously spoken at G2 before. Beth was our second speaker, and spoke to us on vulnerability and shame, and how we, literally and spiritually, should place our afflictions at the foot of the cross.
