Berlin duo The/Das release their sophomore album, Exit Strategies, on Life And Death. The absorbing 12-tracker is the result of a period of searching that finds the new line-up of Fabian Fenk and Philipp Koller combine multiple ideas, layers, fragments and sounds and refine their distinct idea of techno tenderness. It makes for a soothing and escapist 60 minute listen that works as well at home, on headphones, as it does loud in the club.

Stockholm talent extraordinaire, DJ Clea, is back with a new EP. This time arounds she outs two of her musical gems on Art Alfie’s Velvet Pony Label accompanied by remixes by CJ Scott(Karlovak, Velvet Pony) and Anthony Linell (Northern Electronics). It’s a varied bundle of tracks ranging from cozy house vibes (originals), chicago club house(CJ ́s remix) and hypnotic
techno (Anthony’s remix).
It took Clea Herlöfsson 10 years of diligent djing at Stockholm’s foremost underground venues to start producing her own tunes, but once she got there the output perfectly amplified those non-stop late-night shifts, with pummeling drums, dreamy rave euphorisms and vintage synthesizer tones in abundance.
Since then she’s quit a couple of day jobs (including that of being one of Sweden’s most read music columnists as well as working for Gilles Peterson) in order to fully focus on the dj- producer gambit.
Her debut “Fantasy” EP appeared on DJ Haus’ revered Unknown To The Unknown / Hot Haus Recordings in 2018, with the follow-up “Fiero” quickly snuck out on local Stockholm label Study Records. Clea’s treasure chest of unreleased bangers and penned forthcoming releases runs deep - telling the story of an idiosyncratic, passionate perfectionist destined for the main stage.

In the special occasion of our 10th birthday we felt we had to concoct something really memorable, bringing together in 2 vinyl some of the most influential artists who took part in the making of our history and some new ones, yet prominent and successful, to the family. All of them had a fascinating mission to accomplish honouring the concept of “Jazzy” which is the notion and approach set 10 years ago as the fundament of Apparel Music and we can plainly say that they’ve won the challenge, brightly, producing 8 stunning tracks which represent an ideal declination of the requirements you need to enter the AM family.

Chevals then takes over in C2 with “All I Wanna Do Is Love You” and we’re so happy to see a skilled guy like him being recognised in the music business, as sometimes a label's purpose is just to be the perfect filter of someone else's visions. His track is another tangible example of his qualities.

Interflow EP is the second studio EP by English producer Joe Newham on Houseum Records, released under his stage name Gavinco. The album's musical style is described as a synthesis or musical library of electronic sounds incorporated with the acid jazz instrumentation.

This EP is a collection of five tracks starting with the hypnotic yes transient track 'Much Love' with the singer Abela. The second track 'Regards' brings up the motion in the EP. That takes you on a tropical yet tantalizing trip with the solo piano riffs and arithmetic glockenspiel.

Third is 'Interflow' with the long lasting journey of muted trumpets and saxophone riffs that are accompanied by the live instrumentation of drum and bongo. We then move on to the fourth track 'Movate', this track pushes you back out into the dance groove with the heavy live bass recording that has been incorporated into the old school electronic 4/4 house rhythm.

Finally we finish with the bonus digital track 'Imagination' with the upbeat disco drum pattern and lavish ballroom style of house music.

We have already repeated, and we will say again, to be different, newer, fresher, more innovative today is far more difficult. This producer refutes these claims because his music is very different and a real refreshment for the deep house scene. Different Ray is making a debut release for RYNTH called “Deep Lake”! The original is enhanced by remixes of great performers such as Part S and Charlie V!

After a variety of successful releases on Katermukke and Exploited Ghetto over the last few years Jack Jenson and Tigerskin team up once more to deliver three superb and diverse tracks for Forms & Figures.

‚Jump‘ sets off with a dubby and radiant funk-rock groove just to fall apart into a glorious shoegaze kind of atmosphere. ‚Breaking Point‘, as the name suggests, features heavy breaks but in an unusual combination with 80s Rock or Pop. If you’d speed it up it might even become Drum 'n Bass.

It’s also worth mentioning that it features a group of Cebus Imitator that Tigerskin recorded in Panama last year, making some really creepy noises. ‚Pale State‘, is an Electro piece with a very catchy bass line, Jack Jenson's niece using bad language and a formerly famous superstar vocoding himself round up this very cool Ep.
