As the year winds down and people begin to Google 2022 star signs, we look to positive affirmations to guide us out of this year. One affirmation we put into our 2021 universe was a collaboration between Arnold & Lane and Dipzy. Some call it a coincidence, but we call it fate.

The lead record 'My Fault' is as creepy as it is effervescent as a sharp bumpy bass sits under shuffled drum patterns sprinkled with quirky FX & vocals. Have you ever read your horoscopes and thought ‘no way, that’s just not me’? Well, that's the b-side 'Bloop'. It’s a straight-up big middle finger to the stars. Big bass, loopy vocals, sine waves, and enough tension to slice a piece of cheesecake.

Whether you believe Zodiac signs or some old bird reading your palms, when Pluto aligned with the Southern Cross, we knew this was coming our way!

We can’t tell you how excited we get when we hear new music from Rob Marion. I think in our last release with him we boasted about his world-class production, but we still feel like that's underselling this guy. He is WORLD CLASS! Gosh darn it, can you not hear us? With enough Rhodes to fill a small village and spook a miniature horse, Rob has done it again with these two A-sides. Every sound is well-thought-out and expertly maneuvered to create art that feels full without being overcomplicated. Formant-bending vocals, layering into vocoders into sweet delays, while traveling from beats to bass and back again. These are special records.

We kick this new year off with Mr. Brazilian Bass - Holt 88, who brings us a well-balanced EP with a traditional, high energy, big tom bassline track we've come to expect from Holt, but we've paired this with a track that perhaps is a bit of a curveball coming from this man.

'Last Night' brings you back to the good Holt's good old Dirtybird days, where it was all about weird, wobbly grooves that the Brazilians seem to do so well. A classic, bassy track that perfectly hits that mark between super freaky and groovy, which is something we, of course, built our brand on.

Then on the flipside, we have 'Tricky Freak', which shows us a different side of the reputable DJ/producer from South America, diving a bit more into the Techy side of house music - this is a side of Holt we can't wait to hear a bit more off.

All in all a well-rounded EP from one of our favorite family members that our core fanbase should definitely enjoy!
