I wrote this from the perspective of someone in active addiction day dreaming about when life was easier. leading to the realization that he needs help out of the whole he dug himself into. So he looks to God, he's the only help he has because he turned his back on everyone he loved for drugs.

I'm having a hard time believing

i wrote this piece 6 years ago after losing my fiance to a stroke and deciding to turn to drugs even after watching them take everything from my sister and seeing the struggle with society as a whole back then with the drug culture.

I am a recovering drug addict. I just want to express myself as well as sharing my experience strength and hope the best way i know how. by writing. you can hate on me all you want... because at the end of the day im doing what i do for me and to better myself. you haters are just a tiny insignificant spec in the universe that wants to see a rise out of me. but you will always be only thay in my eyes... a tiny little unimportant very unamusing and very very pathetic spec of dust polluting my air.
