I’m super thrilled to share the first edition of my ‘Christie Cooks’ mix series! My vibe(s) are heavily inspired by my hilariously rigid refusal to be tied down to one specific sub-genra. My sets aim to embody a diverse range of bass music simply cause I’m a huge sucker for those impactful main-stage moments where artists mix tracks that have no business being queued together and making it sound fire asf. There’s something for everyone in a Christie mix!

Expect future volumes on a casual basis! For me, creativity is currently all about fun and personal growth. 

Volume 1. will be serving UK, trap, house, wubs, and dubs with a splash of vibes. Listen on your morning jog, at your pre-turn or even when you’re winding down(or up) at the afters ;)

Fromerly known as a member of Mezzii, a dubstep duo from Victoria British Columbia, Christie was inspired out of a love for a wide range of all of our favourite hard bass, melodics, house, and trap. Drawing influence from Moore Kismet, Skrillex, Flume, IMANU and many more innovative sound artists, Christie sets are never a dull moment! 

Before shifting toward Vancouver, Christie launched into the Victoria scene as a part of Mezzii in 2019; opening for Spag Heddy & Ivory, and then later, for Must Die! & Space Laces. Since then he’s played at various open-deck events in collaboration with Sol Productions Victoria, and Wild Productions Canada, as a solo act. 

Inspired by the cutting edge and raw nuance that many artists brought to the scene during the late 2010s, Christie has an undying appetite for industry potential, new sound innovation, and personal brand development.
