The first single from our new upcoming album, "Galactic Prism Sounds!" Written by our keyboardist, Anthony Passante-Contaldi aka Tony PC, this track delves deep into what it's like to live life in the 5th dimension. Metrically, harmonically, and melodically. This track marks the beginning of GPS having released music that isn't just written by Gabe Preston, and undoubtedly explores the mind of Tony PC as his one-of-a-kind approach to the keyboard and synthesizer shines all throughout his composition.

Quinticep - GPS first single from new album "Galactic Prism Sounds"

The second single from our new upcoming album, "Galactic Prism Sounds!" In contrast to "Quinticep," this track revisits GP's compositional skills, initially beginning as a sketch written in between a couple of school students. "Ode to an Adventure" portrays the feeling one gets when embarking on any kind of adventure, big or small, and having to learn to accept the twists and turns that come with any adventure on the way. No matter how beneficial and detrimental each twist and turn may be, there is always a point of definition that eventually comes out at the end of it. That point might not necessarily be a light at the end of the tunnel, sometimes it may be a segue into a whole another adventure of its own. The cover art this time around is a photo of GP exploring LA over the summer of 2023, layered by two of Adam Torcomian's paintings. This represents the idea of how certainly big explorations (LA being notably big) can have its moments of various taints and tints that all share inevitability but also a common percentage of acceptance that must be met to keep the adventure going.

Ode To An Adventure - GPS second single from new album "Galactic Prism Sounds

GPS's second full-length album, and the first with this iteration of the band, "Galactic Prism Sounds" introduces new tunes not only from saxophonist/flutist Gabe Preston, but keyboardist Tony PC as well. As this acronym would imply, GPS has had recent obsessions with trying different rhythmic and melodic shapes in an attempt to explore uncharted territories beyond the fusion jazz realm. In addition, this lineup of musicians aims to bring very certain soundscapes that highlight the eclectic personalities of each instrument, including the introduction of guitar in some tracks. With Gabe and Tony being the only recurring members from the first phase of GPS ([to the stratosphere]), "Galactic Prism Sounds" builds upon the initial spirit of the project with an open mind and a determination to pick up where the journeys and adventures left off.
