Bring You Down

On March 8th, I lost my aunt to depression. I lost her to mental illness. I wrote this song shortly after it happened but there are truly no words to express how I feel. I hope this song can bring comfort to anyone who has ever experienced a loss of any kind, whether it be to mental illness or not. May is Mental Health Awareness month and it is time that we end the stigma. Mental illness is not something that ANYONE should be ashamed or embarrassed of. Talk to someone, write down your feelings, play a sport, go for a run, write a song, or do anything else that will help. There is ALWAYS another option.
