This set was recorded during my opening slot in the iconic Pink Mammoth room at City of Gods Festival on Halloween Saturday in New York. If you missed it, imagine a packed dance floor buzzing with energy, filled with festive costumes, and a vibe so thick it makes your heart reverberate with every beat. I eased us in with a few soothing organic tracks before diving headfirst into dance-y stuff. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed playing it.

I like to imagine sometimes where the music will travel to. Who it will be given to or shared with. Whether it will be played at an after party in London or listened to on a set of headphones while watching the sun rise from behind a mountain in Tibet. I wonder which tracks you'll fall in love with instantly and which will grow on you as time passes. 

I know this is a really long mix and the journey into it and out the other side takes some commitment but, on the plus side, it saves you having to look for anything else to play for ages and ages.

 I hope you love the tracks as much as I do and thanks for listening.

Lee Burridge - Requiem For A Daydream

"2018 at BM was only my second burn and after my first (4 years prior) I did not think it could get any better… But this year somehow was 100 times better! I think this was due to camping with the amazing Pink Mammoth crew and family. Arriving there a few days early to help set up was incredible to acclimatise and hang out. So many people at PM are already close friends, but this year I met loads of new people who, I can now call family. 

At my first BM I also played at PM, although none of us can work out how I ended up playing there specifically haha! We think Derek knew I was coming and asked if I would like to play. Thankfully he did, because I instantly fell in love with the camp and playing there. Four years on, (and playing many times for PM at their events) it felt like coming home. Its so satisfying playing somewhere where you feel completely relaxed to play what you want to play, in a perfect environment.  

This set also was made extra special by an amazing (pre planned) marriage proposal mid set between Harrison and Felicity. Harrison had told me a couple days prior that my song “In Love” was one of his and Felicity's favourite songs that they shared together. He wanted to propose and asked if I could play the song for them whilst he did so. I of course was completely honoured so myself and Harrison arranged that I would play it mid set, about an hour in and would give him a nod to signal it. With his broken ankle (he’d broken it just a day prior!), they both climbed up onto the speaker, and to Felicity’s surprise, just as “In Love” started to come in, he proposed in front of the whole crowd! Of course she said yes ;)

So you’ll hear in this mix the volume dip at the start of “In Love”, which is a lovely memento forever recorded in this mix! Hope you all enjoy! Tim.”

Amir is creating deep journeys of lush music within his productions, live sets and podcasts.

He has played in the venues and festivals including Burning-Man, Gratitude-Migration, Members Camp Out, PEX, I-Feel, Tulum and Isla-Mujeres In Mexico and Jaffa in Israel.

Amir served in the Israeli-Army and discharged in the rank of Captain after he experienced combat as a commander of soldiers. He is holding a masters degree from New-York University in Executive Management of Public Administration and Social Impact.

A few years ago he has chose the spiritual-path of music, yoga and meditation. Amir is a certified yoga and meditation teacher and also lived as a monk for a few months to expend his spiritual understanding.

As he sees his paths as a spiritual seeker and a music producer to be as part of the same quest to find eternal love and spread it to others, he is aspirating to travel and gig around the world, uniting people with deep music and sharing with others the spiritual path to find true happiness.

Lee Burridge - DISTRIKT - Burning Man 2019

It’s been a while since I played DISTRIKT last. After this years experience I’m somewhat kicking myself. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a crowd at Burning Man so wild and fun. The party was electric. Fire! And, it was only Tuesday. ‘Pacing it’ was obviously out of the question for the five thousand or so that joined me. The Robot Heart bus rolled up and plugged in. Hoj tore the place up before me. Our day party extended into night and most of us left with a smile on our faces and an electricity that carried us forward. Beautiful people swung above the crowd in a birdcage (is that safe I kept asking myself in my head)and hips wiggled and swung while the multi-level dance floor bumped and bounced. Basically, best day party at Burning Man ever ever. So, thank you DISTRIKT for giving me an extended set and an amazing party to play. Let’s do it again next year. It’s a date?
