Plymouth’s 14th best DJ Aldo Vanucci drops his solo debut for Jalapeno Records in the form of this killer EP.

“You’re All Show” features the sublime vocals of Kylie Auldist - best known as the lead singer of The Bamboos but also a massive star in her own right. In this track she lyrically tears down some unfortunate individual who has been showing out a little too much.

“Take Me To a Party” features rappers ASM batting off the unwanted attentions of the post gig sparkle ponies and with Aldo’s backing creates a classic hip hop party vibe.

“What Happened?” re-works a classic vocal to devastating effect and “Alone” re-creates the off kilter breakbeat vibe of Aldo’s biggest track to date “when I see you smile”

Dimitri Nassios is no stranger to fans of the funk having released on the highly respected Freestyle Records as Q Orchestra and with Basement freaks as Smokey Bandits.

Under http://soundcloud.com/quasamodo he has teamed up with singer Thaliah to deliver some uplifting soulful beats. Can’t Hold Me Down is a gloriously sunny number. Shame it’s freezing but hey it’s summer somewhere.

Change is Strange also features Thaliah and is a more laid back and low slung groove.

The rest of the EP is funky beats delivered by a young master of the game. Son of Shaft has a familiar ring to it and Funkenstein is a pure heads down groover.
