Arno & Cap deliver the first edition of our new B2B series, culminating in more than two hours of rousing sound.

The two are familiar faces in the minimal clubbing scene and have both DJed in many well-known clubs over the past decade. It was an obvious choice to bring the two together for a night of clubbing, as their effortless chemistry and easy-going attitude propagated in the entire room. They get music, and they get digging even more.

The mix was recorded in early September '21 at our new venue and captures the energy and excitement of the dance floor, the experience, and the dancers of that night. It pumps from the get-go and is sure to thaw you out throughout the chilly month of February. 

Roaming the genres with a light-hearted attitude and a clear vision of fun, the set is full of unexpected twists to throttling bass, spiraling synths, cheeky drums and break corners that are bursting with passion, vibrancy, and magic. 

No less can be said about their podcast, which drifts unconventionally through styles, eras, tempos, and moods. Sehr lustig!

• Since childhood, Zgîrie Disc developed an affinity for music, often listening to magnetic tapes, vinyls and cassettes, with different genres of music (from symphonic music to rock ballads, from stories and theatre to folk music), a passion later on, spiced up with setting the foundation for a hip hop crew in which he activated as an MC and producer. From "electronists" friends, he received the so called, electronic music baptism, firstly in private gatherings, where he fell in love with the sounds of Richie Hawtin, falling in love with the minimalist style and the organic percussion.

• He shared desks, scenes, humor, music and dance along with many consecrate artists, opening the Sunday evening of Maraton (BC ), winning the contest Electric Castle in 2014 presenting his musical creations in Gazette (CJ), Stage (CJ), Shelter (CJ), SubSol Bar (BUC), and so on.

• “The melodic line was composed for my girlfriend in the early morning of a day, somewhere in the national realm, and it’s a romantic improvisation, recounting romanian musical vibrations and transmits heat that surrounds us when we are in love, the composition is influenced and inspired by real events.“

The weirdo underground live-house duo that is SHOUSE often invite local singers and musicians to collaborate when bunkered down in their Collingwood studio. New release “Love Tonight” is an amalgamation of this working environment, whilst being a cheeky parody and adorable homage to the classic ’80’s celebrity extravaganza that was Bandaid “We Are The World”. Assembling a choir of all the people that they have loved and admired in their local scene (Oscar Key Sung, Monte Morgan (Client Liaison), Bec from The Harpoons, HABITS, Pillow Pro and so many more!), Ed and Jack have delivered the type of number that champions unity and a shared sense of eternal wonder for the future! 

For remixes we have Mike Simonetti (Horse Meat Disco) delivering a dark acid heavy late night techno jam, DJ Seinfeld who eschews the hook altogether for a fun lo-fi belter, and Australian newcomers The Nights with a lusciously pulsating melodic mover. Theres also an exceptional Acapella mix with plenty of dance saxophone!

Recorded live at Meduza on 12.05.2018 in Moscow, where they shared the decks with Adjustment Bureau and Luc Ringeisen, our next podcast is from the Romanian duo which set fire with their latest productions.

Both producer regularly figuring on East End Dubs' label EASTENDERZ, LIZZ recently released a track on acmè, and Cosmjn set his productions on RORA, Subtil and Abartik.

GH003 brings you Priku.

Adrian Niculae a.k.a. Priku established himself as a hard working and passionate music creator. He is a member of Sunrise booking since 2007, making his way up to the big gigs through many noticeable Sunwaves performances. 

He released on labels such as [a:rpia:r], All Inn, Fabric, Concrete Music and Only 300 Family, his name is also on Cocoon Green & Blue 2011 and Cocoon Heroes compilations. 

Throughout he can be seen playing in many important clubs and parties around the world, including Robert Johnson, Amnesia, Kazantip Festival, Tenax, Concrete, all across Europe and as far as the Americas. 

In 2012, Bobohalma Ep was released on [a:rpia:r] label. This was a resounding success, highly appreciated by his colleagues in the industry as well as the general public. 

2013 is a turning point for Priku. He creates his own label: Motif and releases a new solo – Acoustic Ep under his real name, Adrian Niculae, the name that’s also present on Fabric 72. 

Priku's achievements came when still relatively young proving to be extremely talented, when we look at him we can see this sweet and delicate face, however, when we listen to his music, especially his live performances - by definition presenting the core of his identity musically – we call him the “king of basslines”, there is a somewhat adorable contradiction here, sweet face vs dark and very strong music, in the best way possible. That element of surprise and this contradiction makes him an even more fascinating artist. 

In 2016 started a new label and series of parties called Atipic, party by which we hold a residency at Guesthouse. This set is an extract of his set at Atipic at the club in March 2019.

Herodot is no stranger to Club Guesthouse, his involvement with the club came about many years ago, he is now even closer than ever before as he is among those announced as the new residents of the club so, to celebrate the occasion we asked him for a podcast. 

Best known for keeping the party going for endless hours until nobody can dance anymore, Herodot has proven his creativity not only behind the decks, but also as a producer. He owns Unanim Records. And, talking about endless hours, he provided us with an extract from his closing set at the Toi.Toi. party at Guesthouse this April, a night which he ended up closing on a b2b with Topper. We let the music speak for itself.
