Distant Topic is a duo project that was born just a year ago, when producer and multi-instrumentalist Brunno started working on electronic beats and tunes that later came to be the band’s first songs. He then recruited the singer and multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Pettenon, who joined him to be Distant Topic. Gathering influences from old school acts, such as New Order and Depeche Mode, and also contemporary bands like Tame Impala and LCD Soundsystem, their first record, “UNSOLICITED”, was produced during the last year, and is set to be released in early 2022. With powerful synthesizers, heavy basslines, drum machines, unique melodies and dancing beats, their first single “Countless Mistakes” is out now.
