Steve Sibra is no newcomer to the French electronic music scene. Active since 1999, he has already released several albums and around forty EPs. 
Originally from Paris but now based in Montpellier in the south of France, Steve is a radio man. For many years, he hosted Laboratoire Sonore on Montpellier 91 FM, where he welcomed the cream of international artists to his show. 

Steve joined the Brique Rouge team in 2022 and, in just a few releases, has risen to become one of the core artists shaping the label's sound. He brings his inimitable touch of melancholic deep techno and melodic, cinematic soft house, sometimes infusing it with a strong electro influence and a few experimental touches. The quality of his productions having won over everyone who listened to them, it was only natural to (finally) offer an album that allows listeners to enter Steve's dancefloor universe.  

And what an album! With 21 tracks, it's more than an adventure, it's a huge sonic trip that draws you in from the very first track and takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions, vibrations, and sensations that doesn't let go until the very last track. It's a coherent universe, where every note is weighed for a minimalist approach to a melodious groove. 

Sometimes leaning towards “sunset music,” sometimes towards a slightly darker melancholy, Telepath Voodoo leaves no one indifferent, and each listen brings its own set of details and surprises.  So listen to it loud, listen to it on headphones, listen to it while dancing or meditating, but let yourself be carried away on this long journey that Steve Sibra offers you.  Undoubtedly one of the most important French House and Electronic artists of the moment.

Created in 1999 by David Duriez, the independent French label Brique Rouge continues to promote the electronic sound that David has always believed in and defended. Far from the formatting and excessive vulgarity of the current electronic scene, the label promotes an eclectic electronic sound that remains rooted in the underground and, above all, in a clubbing vibe.  In general, the artists on the team are given carte blanche, and it is above all the spirit that counts. The label does not seek success; it is a success. The success of being able to release music without compromise. With one release per week on platforms since 2020, the label (and its divisions RZ Muzik & Obliqu3) is seen as a key player in the French underground electronic scene due to its activism.

Today's premiere sees rising Munich talent and Pooled Music signing SHOW-B rework a vintage cut from the label's boss, Ian Pooley. Issued as part of a remix pack that revisits Pooley's classic 1998 album 'Meridian', Schober's rework is a slow-building, melodic tech monster that's drench in atmospherics and clever production touches. Fans of the Innervisions school of thought should enjoy, and it sits pretty on the package alongside reworks by Bicep and Oskar Offerman.

The time has come for the third and final release of exclusive cuts from the Adana Twins mix compilation. Kicking things off is Aaaron’s ‘Muir’ where organic grooves lay the groundwork for ethereal melodies and sinister vocal calls before Adana Twins ‘Ocelotes’ picks up the pace as powerful percussives oppose robust sonic displays of emotion. 

Following suit of the previous track, Andre Hommen steps up next and delivers a vigorous journey where an unrelenting arpeggio drives forward at high velocity creating a wild and impassioned ride before Daniel Bortz and Sascha Sibler’s ‘Yuppie’ draws back the intensity level to deeper, dub infused territories where groove is paramount. 

‘Gazebo’ from Human Machine picks up the energy level once again as hi pace drums and rapid fire melodies culminate in a fever pitch of dance floor antics before Kadosh & Yost Koen’s ‘Dunkellila’ dives back into celestial territories as a ghostly lead winds eerily into oblivion. 

Rounding out the end of the release is Kintar & BOg’s ‘Tribelune’ where melodic percussion and lush sonics traverse a path deep into emotional sector’s before Upercent’s ‘La Lluita’ finalizes the release with an exquisite array of sonics laid over an engaging broken beat rhythm resulting in a lullaby-esque dreamscape of gorgeous harmonies. 

And for the vinyl connoisseurs Aaaron, Adana Twins, Human Machine, and André Hommen will be available via vinyl while the rest will be digital only. Enjoy!

Dj Le Roi has been a favourite and on instant replay at the Noir Music offices for quite some time, so when he sent us this 2 tracker we fell in love right away and even better..... the tracks grew, grew and grew on us.
“I Loved You First” is a solid house groover with inspiration from the good old garage days in the 90s.
Chords and vocals that sounds so good you can almost smell the vinyl release.
“Heartbreaker” is a deeper, spoken word journey with soothing melodies and a more current deephouse sound. Perfect for those warm-up hours or poolside parties.

Nikola Gala delivers a stripped down to “no bull-shit” techy remix of “I Loved You First”.
Nikola has had great success with Rekids, Ibadan and Brise lately with his in your face tech-sound.
Simplicity and a hypnotic groove is usually the best weapon and this remix is a perfect prove.

Kevin Over is another producer we have fallen in love with. His productions are always very special and very well done. On remix duites for “I Loved You First”, Kevin has taken the oldschool house/techno route and made the track work for the late night sessions. Another pearl from Mr. Over indeed.

Clio delivers the only remix of “Hearbreaker” and his sub-heavy sound suits the spoken word perfectly.
The track is now ready for peak-hour and late night sets. Another quality-slap of tech house stompin' extremely well executed by Clio.
