Autor de faixas como 'Swing It', 'Jack Is Back' e 'Teaser', que ganharam diversos remixes por produtores do mundo todo, Fabrício Peçanha teve o primeiro álbum Silver Lining lançado em 2013 pela Moodmusic Records, da Alemanha. Vindo de releases recentes de sucesso, dentre os quais se destacam 'Praia do Rosa' [Stereo Productions], 'Back To The Sound' [Teddy Bear] e 'Confusion' [No Definition], seu novo trabalho será lançado em agosto pela gravadora suíça No Definition.

Compass conta com três faixas totalmente distintas entre si com inspirações de toda carreira do artista gaúcho, principalmente dos anos 80 e 90. Segundo Peçanha, a ideia é diversificar e atingir um público mais amplo dentro do estilo proposto. O EP em si é mais "tech", indo, porém, para lados opostos. 'Lonely Mistake' carrega uma característica deep-house, com melodias melancólicas através de camadas de pads em sintonia com os sintetizadores utilizados no lead. 'Compass' é um techno com diversas alternâncias rítmicas e synths com certa tensão, que combinados com variações no rate de arpegio oscila entre um ‘groove pista’ e uma faixa introspectiva. Já 'Can u feel that?' é totalmente tech-house. Com uma saturação aparente nos timbres, lembrando um pouco o electro dos anos 90, resulta em uma track pra cima que – ajudada por um break bem construído – tem tudo pra funcionar no dance floor.

CLAUDE VONSTROKE - LIVE IN DETROIT

Recorded during his headline set at Movement Detroit, Claude VonStroke's 'Live In Detroit' is the first ever live mix album released by Dirtybird Records, the label VonStroke founded in San Francisco in 2005. VonStroke has always loved mix compilations, coming of age listening to the likes of Andrew Weatherall for Fabric and Claude Young's DJ Kicks. The chance to put out a live recording from his hometown of Detroit, in collaboration with one of the world's largest and respected electronic music festivals, proved irresistible. VonStroke spent four months A&Ring the mix, pre­clearing nearly 150 tracks in the weeks leading up to the album, giving him the chance to DJ at Movement with a huge variety of music. He sourced exclusive VIP edits from the Dirtybird family, as well as a brand new remix of his own timeless 'Who's Afraid of Detroit?'. The albumcame to embody the Dirtybird A&R ethic, featuring seven never­before­heard tracks that VonStroke discovered and signed just for the compilation. So while the album includes nods to the label's past, it also includes new artists and an original vintage electro beast of a track by Claude, called 'Maharaja'. 'I've played Movement more than 10 times, and every time it's one of the most nerve racking shows of the year,' says VonStroke. I always want to bring the hottestpossible set for Detroit, it's where it all started, and my parents always come watch. My set is very much an old­school style DJ set, all music no­one's heard before, special versions, secret edits, all the stuff I've been saving just for this performance. It seems crazy to release a mix album in today's world, but the amount of incredible original music I have collected from both known and unknown producers will make this something people can get really excited about.'

Fresh from a packed summer of Ibizan parties Darius Syrossian is back on Hot Creations with his pumping Danzer EP featuring a remix from the prolific remixer Adesse Versions.

Darius explains that the idea for Danzer was born out of frustration with current music sounding the same. Inspired by a Floorplan Boiler Room set he wanted to make a track “that has the energy of techno, some funk flavours and also heavily disco influenced. It became a firm favourite at my Amnesia residency with DO NOT SLEEP”.

Danzer is an utterly insatiable peak-time cut with a dizzying drop, powerful female vocal hook and scintillating strings. The techno tool version does what it says on the tin, adding an almighty bassline that reverberates throughout. Initially beginning life as a vinyl edits project, Adesse Versions has gone on to have releases on revered labels including Razor N Tape and Delusions Of Grandeur. On his version he flips the track on its head, taking it on an altogether different route, layering extra percussive pads and womping synths.

2018 has been a huge year for Darius Syrossian. He began a new residency at Ibiza’s infamous Amnesia, alongside big names including Cassy, Martin Buttrich and Alan Fitzpatrick. No stranger to the White Isle, he’s also held down residencies at some of the island’s most prestigious venues. Syrossian has had releases signed to impressive imprints from Moon Harbour to 8Bit and Get Physical to We Are The Brave. This year also saw Darius begin his radio show on Rinse FM, with the imminent launch of his own label, Mozy Muzik, still to come.
