Following up from their gritty debut EP release Anxxxious, The LOFT is set to release their sensually stimulating new single, ‘Room With A View’. With a distinctive and provoking sound which is hard to find in the current industry, front man Cristian Gomez and producer, Jose Machin, mold together a vibe rich in 90’s nostalgia and lingering sexuality. 

Seductive vocals pour over an array of electronic blips and undertones to create a lasting auditory experience that is clearly prominent from the opening melody. Subtle drum snares rumble in the background whilst Gomez’s delicate yet magnetizing vocals weave the song through the euphoric highs and the beautifully menacing lows of love and lust.
 
Storytelling is Gomez’s forte and is clearly evident from lyrics rich in emotion and imagination. “Choke me, I don’t want to breathe. Love me, I’m sadder than I seem...” shows the melancholic side of lust and portrays the feeling of solitude and desire effortlessly.  Inventive lyrics carry the song fluently and allow the listener to delve into the complex and intense life of the protagonist portrayed.
 
Compared to their previous endeavors,  “Room With A View” shows a consciousness move in sound to a more bold and confident territory that highlights the duo’s progression and current influences.
 
With a distinguished and undoubtedly refreshing sound that the duo have naturally become accustomed to, ‘Room With A View’ showcases the LOFT’s ability to create a sensual and evocative sound which is specific to them and yet again proves the capability of the Miami based duo.
