L'Essentiel 165- Lipless

Hausman's 2022 Retrospective mix sees all of his releases from the past year mixed into one cohesive set. Included at the end is a sneak peek of what's to come next year...so sit back, relax, and reflect on the wild ride that was 2022!

Hausman has certainly seen an eventful year! He started off with a bang on Enhanced Progressive with his club-ready banger, "Megalodon", which remains high on the Enhanced Beatport charts today. The following month, he debuted "Don't Look Away" on Masvingo Recordings with good friend Edhi Edward, planting the seed for a big announcement later in the year. The "peak" of 2022 was Hausman & Lumynesynth's collaborative EP, "Higher Peaks", which highlighted their plans to move from Boise ID to Denver CO. This release was accompanied by a back-to-back DJ set from the duo, recorded in the foothills of Boise, ID and released on Monstercat Silk's YouTube channel. Shortly after, Hausman returned to his more uptempo progressive sound with two EPs on Enhanced Progressive, one of which earned him a #1 spot on the Beatport Trance Releases chart. He closed out the year with a signature remix for Heard Right and Leo Islo on Purified, previously supported by Nora En Pure in her live sets.

He kept busy outside of releasing music, with live shows in Boise, Seattle, Las Vegas, and Denver, the launch of a Spotify playlist series, reaching 4000 Twitch followers, and of course, undergoing a daunting move to a new, unfamiliar city. All of the hard work has paid off enormously, and it's all thanks to the fans and friends who supported along the way. Here's to 2023 - big things to come!
