The hidden meaning of number 13 is change, the death of something and its rebirth. This is the idea behind Gabriel DOr & Bordoy's new album 13, which is meant to be a turning point on their career. 

Influenced by old school Techno but also by modern sounds, after 6 years of production partnership, they've decided to release their first entirely unpublished LP.

The album, made out of 13 cuts, starts with a dark intro that paves the way into a forceful kind of Techno, followed by vintage sounds with gloomy touches and sometimes even emotional ones. They've used many instruments and samples discovered along the way on this composition process, plus lots of others found in the previous years. The sounds put together on this album have been carefully picked to preserve their uniqueness, while trying to walk on a different path.

Preview Album "13" By Gabriel D'Or & Bordoy [Selected Records]

These two artists were born in different countries but in the same year (1984).

In June of 2009,  “Gabriel D’Or” & “Bordoy” decided to combine their ideas and first-class skills.
All along this period working together, the duo has performed with artists like, Planetary Assoult System, ,Slam, Ben Sims, Luke Slater or Octave One..

Since their Dj’ing career began back in 2000, they’ve have played Techno vinyls for a long time heavily influenced by producers such as Aphex Twin, Jeff Mills, Oscar Mulero, CJ Bolland, Dj Rush, Anthony Rother, Mathew Johnson, Richie Hawtin or Umek..

They’ve always known how to combine their sound engineering studies and their Dj/Producer career.

Since their first release in 2009 they’ve performed at big clubs in more than 17 different countries in Europe and America, remixing artists like Christian Wünsch, Alexander Kowalsky, Alex Under, Xpansul…

Their releases are found on big labels like Selected Records, Dynamic Reflection, Illegal Alien, Rxxistance, 1605, AnalyticTrail, Bush Records, or Golden Series to name a few of them.
