The Pyramids of Chi are a place of mystery, situated in the depths of Bali’s ever-stretching rice-fields. Laurent Suara performs something known as Acoustic Bioresonance ~ he is the original Creator of this powerful therapy which he has been offering at these Pyramids in Ubud - he incorporates world instruments in this unique experience that literally trembles your body, mind and soul, in which the participant not only immerses themselves in the sound but actually ‘’becomes the sound wave itself’’. Laurent is an experienced sound therapist who combines ancient and modern sound healing to create a unique mind-blowing experience that transports you into another realm. This is not your average sound healing experience, however. Many in fact describe it as a near-death experience; a rebirth, even. It is incomprehensible, soothing and profound. It is a journey into your soul.
French-Filipino-born Laurent always had a deep passion for sound, an unexpected journey through which led him to the Pyramids of Chi, itself a place constructed on the foundations of a spiritual calling during a meditation session of which to build some pyramids in a power spot. That power spot was to be Ubud upon the principles of the Golden Ratio, a well-known formula for mathematical universal alignment. 
Furthermore, Laurent Suara is an accomplished sound technician, producer, musician and DJ, the founder of Rainbow Disco Club Festival in Japan and Resonanz, an events company that combines art, music and culture in Berlin and Tokyo. The combination of instruments he uses are unique to the Pyramids of Chi and cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

Laos Episode 3 - Meet The Novice Monks Of Savannathek: Conversation On Buddhist Teachings Pt 3 Of 3

This podcast is brought to you from Thakhek, Laos by the Mekong River. This conversation on travel in south east Asia came about through a series of incredible co-incidences. We actually bumped into fellow traveler Gil Lorenz  three times, firstly in a van from Siem Reap across the Cambodian border into Laos with severe delays along the way at the crossing regarding my passport. We continued our journey alongside Gil up north in an animal truck (not uncommon in Laos) and in this multilingual vehicle, later discovering that he spoke my co-presenter’s local language Hebrew. We went our respective ways island-hopping but bumped into Gil yet again on a boat departing from one island. Lo and behold hundreds of kilometers further north, Gil walks in to a random café by the Mekong River hunting for chocolate cake as we are drinking Thai tea. A highly surreal moment. Finally, we have this conversation and I decide to feature him in this series. It turns out we had a lot to discuss, which further leads me to believe that the more I travel and co-incidences accelerate, everything happens for a reason! And so, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this Culture Cave podcast featuring the charming, daring and curious Gil Lorenz from Florida, USA.
