after couple of months trying to finish several song's lyric and a week to produce and record songs for a demo, gladly now you can hear one of several songs that we recorded. MANU "Gabriel Mayo & Utari Intan"

"Manu" is a song composed by Gabriel Mayo (musician) based on a poem with the same title by Utari Intan (writer) for a special collaboration with Letterplatters for Letterature #2: Bisik Kata (2016).

Letterature is an initiative project by an independent design studio, Letterplatters, as a form of appreciation toward literature. As the context of literature has emerged into many mediums, Letterplatters takes this chance to collaborate with few independent artists to embrace the creative process of channeling 'feelings'. 

This year, the experiment continues with words that transforms into lyrics, to see how it bounces reactions with the magic of music as the context for lettering and alphabet's composition. 

Gabriel Mayo and Utari Intan composed “Manu” to question the essence of being human, who supposedly becomes worthwhile, but most frequently gets lost in bewilderment.
