The day has been long and I am stuck in my mind.
Lend me your tongue, I need to unsing all that I have sung,
It’s so hard to become what everyone sees,
But maybe tonight we can be whatever we want,
A modernist poem by Pound or Rimbaud, show me those sweet lines,
Mad poets find in the pools of your eyes.

And bring me wine to exorcise the devils within and all of my sins, tonight we can win, just for a while, my flame in the night.

Its everyone’s dream to not be alone,

Tuesday night, alone in a bar, where is Jacques Coustau where is Kofi Annan? 
Won’t someone come and pretend that they are in love, or dance a tune which no one knew could be danced like that.

Early rise, like the day before, if one more twerp curates my work I think I will explode, 
When this job ends please take some time before you start again, the city feeds from souls like you who are in the red.

O wintry blues what did you do, my friends, they stay home and watch the evening news,
