Solstice Gathering - Drum and Bass Set

A mix of some of my favourite songs that I played out over the last year at the festivals and events I performed at as well as being a representation of my current style. Hope you enjoy it!

2024 Mix

One of my faourite seasons sets I've done. This was for a friends event on the summer soltice at a secret location looking over the Pacific Ocean. Don't know if I'll ever be able to top that location for a sunset set! Hope you enjoy these liquid drum and bass tunes with a beautiful view whereever you are listening from. :)

Winter chill mix for your studies, work or late nights. Excited to show this other, chiller side of me with a new mix every season that I aim to represent the environment during it. Seasons Mix: Summer

Happy New Year! Thought I was going to do something chill for this season but then figured that's not what 2020 felt like to me, so I made a set that I believe represented 2020 as much as possible. Which meant I went super dark and heavy! 😈 Thanks for supporting me through the last couple of years and I'm super excited to show you what I've been working on this past year in the coming months!

Gabriel Raine is a force in the electronic music scene, known for crafting immersive, high-energy sets that transcend genres. Based in British Columbia, Canada, Gabriel’s style effortlessly blends house, UK garage/bass, drum and bass, midtempo, trap, techno and dubstep, creating a dynamic soundscape. His carefully curated mixes capture the essence of underground and festival culture, delivering a unique journey every time he performs.

With a deep-rooted passion for music, Gabriel has built a strong presence through live performances and guest DJ spots at many festivals and clubs throughout BC. He has performed at Shambhala, Otherworld, Bloom nightclub, Nook, as well as many private events. From house to high-energy bass music, every set reflects his dedication to exploring new sounds while staying true to the electronic scene.

Beyond the booth, Gabriel is known for his studies in Flow states and work in festivals and emergency management. Gabriel is also currently conducting environmental science research, which has led him to making this brand a benefit company. This represents a commitment to using this project to support the environment and disenfranchised communities in western Canada. Whether that means helping local festivals, applying research for impact, or donating a portion of performance profits, he’s excited to explore the possibilities.
