The follow up EP to Yellow Claw’s epic Jeffree’s debut, Amsterdam Twerk Music cleans up your definition of “dirty” just so they can strip it down to booty claps and bass rolls. The first track, “DJ Turn It Up” is a subtle dance floor anthem reminiscent of the heavy bass from your nostalgic middle school days of grinding to timeless hip-hop anthems.

On the second track, Yellow Claw teams up with Tropkillaz and The Kemist to bring us “Assets,” a track that twists its vocals in a way that winds through the most bass-hungry, whimsical quarter of your imagination. “P*$$YRICH feat. Adje” then transports you deeper into Yellow Claw’s bass dungeon, leaving its victims up against the walls bumping and grinding till sunrise.

Amsterdam Twerk Music concludes with “Slow Down”, an addictive baseline paired with a jock-jams reminiscent hook. Yellow Claw are the tastemakers of guilty pleasure. But lets be honest… there’s no guilt attached to the obsession.

Depois do lançamento do EP “O Inferno do Cachorro Magro”, o MC Shawlin solta mais um trabalho pela Skol Music: o EP “C’est La Vie”, que conta com um single inédito e dois remixes.
“C’est La Vie”, de acordo com Shawlin, é “uma música de amor segundo a visão do Cachorro Magro”, e foi produzida por Hupalo!, beatmaker e produtor curitibano de apenas 19 anos. 

O EP conta também com um remix do Tropkillaz para “Late Igual Cachorro” e a faixa “FMP”, remix do produtor Gean Brasil. A arte da capa ilustra a estética de quadrinhos que o Cachorro Magro quer adotar para seus próximos lançamentos, e é assinada por Ruy Wobeto do Instituto HQ.

“Todos os meus álbuns relatam períodos da minha vida, e experiências reais acabam de alguma forma tomando parte na obra. Quando fiz o EP ‘O Inferno do Cachorro Magro’, relatei o fim de um longo relacionamento e seu luto, onde o Shaw morria junto com seus medos e limitações, abrindo caminho para o alter-ego Cachorro Magro (o vilão) assumir a dianteira. Agora começo esse novo EP por esse single intitulado ‘C’est La Vie’, revelando a musa do Cachorro Magro, que embora estivesse presente no começo do vilão permanecia oculta”, explica ele.

Cachorro Magro é o pseudônimo artístico do rapper carioca Shawlin, um dos fundadores do grupo Quinto Andar e autor do álbum “Orquestra Simbólica” (2012). Shaw entrou no universo do hip hop aos 11 anos e, aos 15, produziu suas primeiras músicas, uma delas publicada em 1999 na coletânea “Zoeira Hip Hop”. No mesmo ano, montou, com De Leve, Marechal e DJ Castro, o Quinto Andar. Em 2005, o grupo lançou seu primeiro CD, o clássico “Piratão”. O disco reúne sucessos como “Melô do Piratão”, “Rap do Calote e “A Um Passo do Paraíso”. Em 2007, o rapper finalmente embarcou em carreira solo com o disco “Ruas Vazias”.
