Not all relationships are long term and I can’t forget the ‘single life’ aspect, so I wrote ‘Not My Boyfriend’. This song represents the freedom to do whatever you want, to not be in a relationship but have your own fun and enjoy life how you want to. The word ‘Boring’ is about the people who push relationships on you, society telling you that you need to be with someone.

I wanted to write a love song, a song that encapsulates my life and my feelings right now. I found this track so easy to write due to it just being my experience from this year, the journey of falling in love. 
 I think when you're happy you just want to spread that happiness to everyone. When people listen to this track I want them to feel that joy and to be in their feels. It is a song that you can dance to but also makes you float when you think of that feeling of falling in love. Just enjoy being in the present and be happy with where you are right now, if that is falling in love, being in love or being excited for what's to come with love.

You know how at the start of a new relationship, everything feels like sunshine and rainbows when everything’s perfect and you’re just so in love? Well, Easy on Me captures that moment when you’ve passed the honeymoon phase, that three-month mark, and you start learning more about your partner and about yourself in this relationship. You begin to notice the little things that might annoy each other, and the song reflects that realisation. It’s about acknowledging, "Yeah, this might be a part of me you don’t love, but I’m working on it." And the same goes for the other person.

Through my own relationship, I’ve come to understand things about myself, things I didn’t like and areas I wanted to grow. Easy On Me was born from that self-awareness, and it’s an honest conversation between me and my partner. When people listen to this song, I hope they can relate to the effort and patience required to make a relationship work. We all have things to work on, but growth takes time, and the key is to be patient with ourselves and each other.
