For years now, an old recording of Jeffrey Sfire at Cocktail D'Amore's one and only cosmic hole was one of the highest references for us in terms of downtempo Italo sleaze - an almost 6 hours recording serving more like a PhD aural dissertation specialized in some of the most remarkable dancefloor digs (mainly Europe) had to offer in the 80s at under 115BPM. To be able to share it publicly on the HAND Mix Series as we reach number 50 is a huge honor and we're greatly thankful to Giacomo and Giovanni, the two cuties behind Discodromo that made this possible. We hope you can appreciate it as much as we have over these past years. Here it is HAND #50 featuring the unique sleazy wizardry of Jeffrey Sfire captured in a special moment in time during the moist and lubricated atmospheres of Cocktail, now online - listen carefully! Igor Amore begann mit 17 jahren zusammen mit seinen freunden clubs zu mieten und fand schnell selbst den weg hinter die decks.
ein halbes leben später hat er sich durch einige genre der elektronischen musik gewühlt, residencys in clubs und festivals erspielt und vielen menschen momente musikalischen glücks beschert. 
nach längeren aufenthalten in hamburg und berlin, kehrt er nun 33 Jahre alt, zurück nach dresden, seiner heimat.
soweit ein erfolgreicher, wenngleich viel beschriebener weg im heutigen großen dschungel der clubscenerie … 


wäre da nicht diese eine sache mit den 80ern! bereits 2012
als begriffe wie italo disco, wave oder minimal synth auf Ihren erneuten einzug in die dj-sets moderner künstler warteten, kam Amore schon mit seiner eigenen reihe um die ecke.
parallel zum underground kochte er sein eigenes süppchen und beleuchtet in seinen mixen selbstsicher und unangepasst verschiedene spielweisen des 80er stils.

Somehow the original uploader seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth. Only noticed now when someone asked me for this mix, so I am re-uploading it in 2025

On a sunny afternoon in April 2013, Evan Dando walked into a drug store in Hamburg. He asked the clerk for a pack of marshmallows and some good new music. The clerk, who was wearing a My Bloody Valentine t-shirt and bore a resemblance to John Lennon, gave Evan a copy of "It's All Gonna Fall", the debut single by a new Finnish band that calls themselves The Lieblings. "What's this?", Evan mumbled. "It came out today, you'll love it", said the clerk. "Come back in August for the album".
