Originally from Rennes and producer / DJ for 9 years now, H.Mess is a rising figure of the French mental and hypnotic techno.
Having already proven himself at the Rex Club, the Astropolis Festival (Brest) and the Petit Salon (Lyon), he knows how to apprehend his audience with an always psychedelic journey of rhythmic bursts, to make the crowd enter into an uncontrolled trance.
His experiences have led him to create the Texture organisation and to be resident at the Warehouse Nantes where he develops his well defined style.
He delivers us today a full organic EP with groove and sharped patterns.

Radio Slave announces Rekids Special Projects ‘Actualize’ compilation and DJ mix - Part 1 will be released in January, with Part 2 to follow in February 2023.

Rekids Special Projects, the no-nonsense techno-focused sub-label of Radio Slave, aka Matt Edwards’ Rekids, launched in 2017 and has since released music from the likes of Mark Broom, Luke Hess, Jon Hester, and more. For the 50th release, Edwards readies ‘Actualize’, bringing acts from the wider Rekids universe into one slick collection, with the first part arriving this January alongside a DJ mix of the tracks.

“The original concept was a vinyl-only offshoot of Rekids, focusing on techno and a home for our extended family of artists. We’re now working with so many new and exciting young artists, such as Confidential Recipe and the incredible Theo Nasa, and Rekids Special Projects is a rock-solid platform to shout about good quality club-focused techno music. A name that has become synonymous with club driven techno in recent years, and armed with a catalogue of classy techno to show for it, German native Phil Berg steps up to leave his mark on the SK_X series with the ‘Raid’ EP.
The title track leads the 20th instalment of the SK_X series with an assortment of growling basslines, rolling percussion and rising synth-lines. ‘Y-Axis’ concludes the A side with a hypnotic synth groove complimented by an eerie atmosphere and texture throughout. The flip side breaks with ‘Kamino’, a dark affair packed with punchy kick drums, plucky bass and rhythmic percs. The record resolves with ‘Sinara’, a euphoric journey consisting of lush pads and rattling tones for its duration.

Following a decade away from the spotlight (though never the studio), he has re-emerged with new collaborations as well as digital reissues of his classic catalog, setting the stage for a new GAETEK LIVE show that will introduce his 25 years of timeless music to techno’s next generation.
