The second installment of re Interpretations form Slams latest, critically acclaimed album Reverse Proceed sees Soma look to yet more highly regarded Techno artists to provide their reimaginings of their favourite tracks from Reverse Proceed. Long time Soma collaborator Gary Beck makes a welcome return to the label alongside fellow Scottish upstarts Clouds and finally Dutch Techno wizard, Jeroen Search. Each brings their inimitable style to the project.

Gary Beck steps up first with his take on Catacoustics. His fiery brand of looped out Techno take the already tough Catacoustics into another realm. Today he is groovin & movin around in the city of k-dub aka Kitchener, Ontario where he is still droppin dope sets & keepin dem beatz slammin like nobodies bíznass in the nightlife scene downtown Waterloo!

Gaetano Parisio from Napoli, Italy is one of the most consistent artists in techno, contributing to the late-90s hard groove scene by releasing records that became staples in every respectable DJ’s record box while working with frequent collaborator Marco Carola to hoist the Napolitano sound into the spotlight. Following a decade away from the spotlight (though never the studio), he has re-emerged with new collaborations as well as digital reissues of his classic catalog, setting the stage for a new GAETEK LIVE show that will introduce his 25 years of timeless music to techno’s next generation.
