My latest collaboration with Mozambican, Portugal-based artist @Iron-Br11 , pronounced “Iron Bronze” on an electric, cross-continental release that bridges cultures and soundscapes.
This one’s been in the works since my last trip to Lisbon. The result? A fiery, fast-paced, high-energy track designed to lock into your mind and ignite your muscle memory.
Iron Br11 comes through with powerful Portuguese bars, delivered in his deep, raspy, and unmistakable tone layered over a bright, synth-driven dance instrumental that perfectly fuses our distinct styles.

With Applause V.A. Vol. 2, the Paris-based label continues its exploration of electronic music at the intersection of local and diasporic scenes. Curated by Matteo, this second compilation brings together both emerging and established artists from Europe, Africa, and the diasporas, with a focus on hybrid sounds and boundaryless rhythms.

Equally suited for club play and deep listening, the selection spans a wide range of aesthetics—from bass music to percussive techno, baile funk to Afro-Caribbean grooves. Returning contributors like Artem, DJ Travella, Blck Mamba, Lorkestra, and Hey Bony further anchor the label’s evolving identity, as they become increasingly connected to its booking agency and roster.

“As with the first volume, my aim was to capture a living and moving ecosystem,” Matteo explains. True to Applause’s ethos, the compilation acts as a bridge between diverse club cultures, highlighting bold and personal approaches to contemporary dance music.
