We've stumbled upon each other after listening to one of his episodes on PRESS:PLAY and briefly after we started talking and sharing each other's content.

His musical journey started on a very young age, he studied sound engineering in college but only started DJ'ing at the age of 15. He gathered experience with music production and DJ'ing at clubs such as 'Namely Stones', 'Fooba' as wel as Nahysosa Social.

His latest release called 'Tales From The North' will be released very soon.

In 2018 he started the podcast series called PRESS:PLAY, where he invites guest DJs from all over the world for an exclusive guestmix.

As for our podcast, he prepared an insane deep and melodic set that'll take you to the darkest depths of techno, with powerfull basslines, screeching leads and hypnotizing padsounds, just the way we like it.⁠

LEE ALEXANDROS XYLARAS, known as ALEXXØ is a South African based DJ and Music Producer from Johannesburg. He started his musical journey from an early age with music and studied sound engineering in college, however he started DJing at the age of 15. ALEXXØ's Dj sets currently consists of a perfect blend between Melodic House & Techno and Techno music in his live sets, Through the years he has gathered experience with music production & DJing, he has DJ 'd at various clubs, namely Stones in Fourways, Fooba in Benoni, as well as NAHYSOSA social. 

The last EP, "The Difference" with DSoul Mass, featuring Lee Xylaras" full of percussion elements, with grooves and soft synths was released in 2011.

He is currently working on his latest EP "Tales From The North" which will be out soon.
He releases a podcast series called "ALEXXØ Presents: Press:Play Radio" which featured 3 mixes by him and then decided to invite guest Dj's onto his show such as, DEKOTA, NATASA, MELODICA, NIC LETCHER, KAYLA SAIKALY (USA), ZUZANA HAKI (CZ), GRETA (GR) to name a few.

Some of his inspirations include artists like: Tale Of Us, Mind Against, Amelie Lens, just to name a few.
He has the love and passion for music and it goes beyond a hobby... “Music plays an important role in my life and spreading the love for music to others is a great accomplishment, once I'm in perfect sync with them, I give them what they want and the energy is amazing!”
