The concept of the mix :

"Most people know Anoebis for uptempo goa-trance music, but my love for ambient is also very big, so it was a pleasure to record something more slow and deep again! 🙂 As I believe music is a powerful tool that can stand above politics and hate, I had 1 thing in mind with this set: Unity! 🙂 That's why I chose certain tracks of certain labels and ended the mix with a track called "Prayer". I believe this type of music brings us together! We are all one"!


bio:

Anoebis is an old school goa-trance addicted international dj, playing this kind of music as much as possible for people that love to dance hard and float around on classic goa-trance! 🙂 But thats not my only love... I also like to play very floating melodic ambient and melodic forest music once in a while. Besides that I (and Mars) are also the managers of Suntrip Records! :)

The story of Anoebis starts in 1998. In that year I discovered goa-trance. Immediately I was SO convinced of that music that I bought all the cds I could buy! Pretty soon I had 200 cds which resulted in a first dj-set during newyear 2000.
Around that period I didn’t dj alone. Mostly I played together with a friend called Dave (dj name Paprika) and together we were called PaprikanoebiS. Because Dave was too busy with his studies I played alone since 2001 and before I realised I was playing more or less every weekend.

The first years of the new millennium were hard. Around that period I was one of the last djs playing “melodic goa trance”, the old school style. Because I loved that style so much and it seemed more or less dead, I and a good friend (Mars/Fabien) deceided to start our own music label called Suntrip Records. Not much later melodic goa-trance started to revive in Belgium and some other countries in the world, and this resulted in many parties with only “old /newschool goa-trance” 🙂 This meant little sleep for me, but lots of joy! And for some obscure reasons this love for melodic goa trance continues untill today!
Since 2010 my career also exploded more internationally...So I hope many more mindblowing experiences will come soon! :)

I have checked on how many parties I played by now, and in 2022 it must have been around 800 parties in my life… Mostly in Belgium of course, but in a lot of other countries as well... In more or less every European country, but also in Israel, Japan, Brasil, Egypt and more... Also, I am lucky to say I played on many festivals with a big name such as: Boom Festival, Psy Fi, Lost Theory Festival, ZNA Festival, SUN Festival, Apsara, Samsara, Freedom,... 🙂 

Altough I’m doing this for a long time now I still love this music (it’s so deep in my heart, you can not imagine) and I still love dj-ing. Nothing fulfills my heart more then a crowd dancing and smiling in the first rays of sunshine! :)

Musician based in Barcelona. Student and lover of many tribal and sacred rhythms from ancient parts of the world. Contributing to the scenes with mixes and with own musical creations. Involved in playing music whether playing instrumental or from dj-decks, performing around the world from chillout to psytrance, from autoproductions to live band exhibitions.

I played 4 sets and today i will publish the 1st one, a 1h journey from Psy-Techno to Psytrance. This set was recorded at Garden of Joy on Wednesday night . It was challenging and fun to play, i hope it will be entertaining for you to listen.

This summer i played many uptempo sets and i plan to publish them all progressively. In the next year i would like to play more Techno, Deep / Organic house and Psytrance.

It is now my honor to return to this wonderful Universo Paralello Festival (Bahia, BR) for another performance on the Chill Out Stage after such a difficult and sensitive period of a pandemic on our planet! This festival has a very special meaning for me, since it is my favorite event and, as those close to me know, it is where I started to idealize my project. Recently I have been extremely impacted in a positive and inspirational way by the birth of my beloved son Jojo, to whom I dedicate this work, intending to gather my energy and eternalize all the wonderful vivid feelings that I experienced since his birth. And it is within this context of overcoming and great love that I developed the theme of this sound line, being able to draw a special message for such an important occasion: “Life is a miracle”. Great thanks to the organization of the festival, to the artists/friends of Chill Out and to the amazing support offered by “Psybient.org” for this release.

Becoming more and more famous in Moscow crowd, he found out about 2 informal capitals of the "electronic underground" - Goa and Koh Phangan, and in addition to domestic events, since 2013 he began to gain his musical expirience in Asia and India. Would like to share with you very special audio recording. This is a introductory part for a dj set that i played this year at Psy-Fi festival.
 
For this performance i invited my new friend - Fresh to join me with his mantra live vocal looping improvisation. This collaboration created some very special vibe and raise energy on the dance-floor. Unfortunately his audio and all the rest wasn’t recorded.
 
Don't forget,  our life is a direct consequence of our daily actions and intentions. When we change ourself - we change the world around us.
