Rains always bring us a lot of joy and peace. Nothing like watching the raindrops on your window with a hot cup of coffee. Which is exactly what this month’s episode on Distant Grooves makes us feel like. 

We invited Zurich based DJ/Producer - Kiberu to Distant Grooves this month. His music is a combination of driving afro rhythms, deep melodies and always with the intention to touch people's souls. Kiberu has released and remixed tracks on some of the most internationally acclaimed labels such as Renaissance Records, Sure Player, Connected Frontline and more. His tracks are beautifully crafted and are bound to turn heads in every corner of the dancefloor.

Shika Shika is very proud to present the new album of one of our co-founders 

Fulgor is the deepest movement in Barrio Lindo´s discography until today. Produced in the last two years on constantly tour around Europe and South America. 
In his third album, Agustín Rivaldo is strongly inspired by the humanity and the way that people connect through dance and the body in many different ways. 

Barrio Lindo celebrates his third album with special featuring for second time argentinean band Weste and producer Jin Yerei, german producer and composer Andi Otto, ecuatorian band Huaira and sax player Grabiel) 

The musical inspiration cames once again from Southamerica. After his second album “Albura” (2017), Rivaldo works with rhythms from the last century like argentinean Murga, ecuatorian San Juanito, brazilian Chocalho, and centroamerican Reggeaton. The sound of the album has a big presence of metals and springs sparkling in a dark ambient. His use of synthsizers predominate in this nighttime universe that Fulgor cross.
